Y’all melting down over Jean are just feeding a narrative the gates desperately want (and need) right now: the gators have unstoppable momentum, they’ve turned the corner, and they’re going to beat Miami for recruits down the stretch.

We’re in big boy crooting right now even though we’ve been a mediocre program for the past 20 years. We’re gonna lose some battles. Don’t meltdown and thereby help our top recruiting adversary when we lose a kid or two. It’s gonna happen.

Reeks of desperation. With that kind of business model UF is going to have some very disappointed fans come signing day. No wonder none of their commits recruit for them publicly on social media.

Happy Miami doesn’t play that game, brings down the prestige of playing for the university.
