Dijon Johnson, CB (OSU de-commit)

Question: how is Florida going to look when they get dropped by Utah to start the season? As long as the kid doesn’t commit until he can visit again, I’m not worried.

Let UF do the same victory dance and put out the same narrative like they did with Kinsler. It is not attractive to these kids. Meanwhile, Mario is stacking chips recognizing that keeping his cards close to the vest is going to win the poker game that ends in mid-December for some and early February for others.

I can’t imagine that we didn’t have a single kid give Mario his commitment this weekend with all of the hype surrounding us and all of the kids on campus. Meanwhile, silence. And the insiders are pointing out that we are going covert with this. Patience is a virtue. And now we shift since we have a season to play! Can’t wait for the hype to become reality this year!
Nobody expects them to beat Utah though. Not even their rational fans (all 5 of them)

UF pays kids to visit , they also pay them to extend their visits to keep them from visiting a certain rival school. On top of that they pay kids to commit on social media. Knowing there‘s a good chance that recruit won’t stick. For context just look at Ivins title on Jean “ UF beats Miami for Jean”. When they likely lose him they can say some school severely over paid for him, if he sticks even better. They‘re trying to win battles , any positive is good. Miami on the other hand is trying to win wars. UM doesn’t pay for visits / social media commits, doesn’t bash other programs or their coaches to recruits. It’s a professional outfit not an amateur hour. The results will show that.

I felt like that was why they paid so much for Marshall.

Y’all melting down over Jean are just feeding a narrative the gates desperately want (and need) right now: the gators have unstoppable momentum, they’ve turned the corner, and they’re going to beat Miami for recruits down the stretch.

We’re in big boy crooting right now even though we’ve been a mediocre program for the past 20 years. We’re gonna lose some battles. Don’t meltdown and thereby help our top recruiting adversary when we lose a kid or two. It’s gonna happen.

Reeks of desperation. With that kind of business model UF is going to have some very disappointed fans come signing day. No wonder none of their commits recruit for them publicly on social media.

Happy Miami doesn’t play that game, brings down the prestige of playing for the university.

I think one of the Banks, DMoney put out said something to this effect with their South Florida recruiting approach.

Pathetic but not surprising.

Still some of us on here are crying no stop since yesterday. SMH.

Funny you say that

Without any context, I thought that article headline was hilarious

Couple that with the info about Kinsler and it’s all kind of “smh” worthy

apparently he meant to say get and edited it. Damage is done already tho. FSU and UF boards already picked up on it and running with it. No tag team does more damage to miami than the gaby/lake combo

So this guy whose livelihood is based on communicating with the public **** out a tweet without reading what he actually wrote? Im not buying it.

Nah no one is crying… you wanna see crying go to the gator tears thread and read their posts… that’s crying.

Edit: I see @cway313 disagrees… lol

The only ones crying are those who love doom and gloom on here.
