Then why didn't he stay committed. Pretty sure the only similarity was it was unexpected.

Did Coker even recruit Shady or did he give up once he was going to Pitt? Shandy signing on NSD was unexpected to the staff/Coker and the fan base.

Griffin was being recruited (like Corn Elder) and the staff was aware of him, perhaps the fan base was not. Him signing after NSD when the staff was on him doesn't sound like the same thing as Shady.

Didn't Mccoy and Cooper go to the same prep at the same time and Cooper started over Mccoy? I don't know if thats the reason why McCoy didn't stay committed to us but could have something to do with it.
