Did Derrick Griffin get his score?

hes taking the ACT test saturday. from his instagram and twitter, he doesn't seem all that focused on passing these tests...

16-17 is less than mediocre honestly. I would think that normal students have to come in higher at 23-25 etc.

Either way - hope Grif makes it in. It's clear he wants to be at UM and we want him.

That's right for sure. I was mistaken. Now I remember. I think superb is anything over 31-32. Mediocre is 20-25 (which is where I fell and didn't get into UWisco)

There is definitely a difference though for scholarship athletes correct? I mean it would kind of make sense... People get in with lower scores if they have other extracurricular activities besides athletes as well too right? Plus the university's/$CAA make a mint off them.

Prayers for Griffin. I taught a lot of kids like him. Those type of test do not come easy to them. For some of us, they are a breeze. That is not the case for all. Best of luck to him.

In my day, freshman experience didn't involve a professor, but it usually involved a happy ending. Girls were not as experienced in HS like they are now.

I believe the scores go to 31-32 if I remember correctly.

A perfect score is 36. If I'm not mistaken one of my high school teammates score a 33 before he went to Tulane

Correct. A perfect ACT score is 36.

I'd guess a passing/qualifying score for clearinghouse and UM admissions would have to be 18 and up. Even for a football player. Hard to see it being much lower than that.

If I'm Golden and I'm still allowed to visit him I'm over there helping him study and I would've been taking an ACT prep course myself just so I could help tutor him. Whatever it takes. Pair this kid with Stacey Coley and co. and ACC defensive coordinators are ****ting their pants.

Dang I feel old cuz I can remember when the perfect score for the ACT was a 26 when I scored a 21 on it back in the early 90's
