Did any media ask or did Diaz address why walk-on Ragone was in the game when UVA was in our redzone?

What kind of moronic logic is that? So because the kid just happened to not fvck up and allow a TD, we should be fine with a 3rd string walk on coming in during crunch time.

If the Pats are down by 6. 2 seconds left at the 40 yard line and the coach decides to take Brady out and put Josh Gordon in at QB and he just happens to throw a TD pass. Does that mean it was a wise decision?

 Hmmmmm

Let me get back to you on that one

I think it’s obvious we have some depth issues at lb. Someone’s number has to be called out there. Hard to fault anything the defense did that night regardless who played. They essentially won the game.

Bad example, as you know that move would get Belichick hailed as a genius.

I got laughed off the board in camp for having the audacity to suggest there are serious LB depth concerns.

But yeah, you definitely want a walk-on LB in the game in the 4th quarter of a must-win football game.

1. McCloud = redshirt
2. Joyner = injured
3. Jennings = injured
4. Huff = academic redshirt

Now, god forbid, imagine if 55 or 56 go down for any significant amount of time? Goodnight.

He’s played in 3 games at the Striker position. Guys need breathers and maybe he does a good job in practice. Sorry you think our coaches should be checking scholarship statuses on the sideline. If we have 3 strikers all of them will get on the field. If the coaches think he can get the job done fine. In three games we have no reason to think he can’t. Sorry you’re running out of things to complain about. You’ll have a new Saturday soon

No need to ask him. The answer is obvious.
We only have two healthy backup LB’s. One is Brooks and the other is McCloud.

Brooks is a MLB and Pink got hurt so Brooks couldn’t replace because he doesn’t play that position. His normal backup McCloud is redshirting so the only available option was the walk on.

Incredible how people don't realize the lack of depth on this team—yet scream that Miami should be so much better than it is in the midst of this 15 year lull.

When you're playing walk-ons in goal line situations, while still robbing the Transfer Portal and leaning on grad transfers—news flash, you're nowhere near contender level.

Ideally they should be checking scholarship statuses in the offseason so they don't need to play walk-ons in games.
