Diaz now a candidate for TEMPLE

Temple's past 4 coaches Al Golden, Steve Addazio, Matt Rhule and Geoff Collins all went on to land P5 conference jobs. Temple isnt exactly the graveyard for coaches some of you are trying to make it out to be.

If his goal is to one day become a head coach at a P5 school, I don't see how this is not a progressive or vertical career move? Exactly as you stated-the Temple job has served as a springboard for coaches in the past, and what would make this hire intriguing/compelling, is that he possesses more ability/potential than the 4 coaches that preceded him. As if that is not enough, also take into account that even with him next yr, it is highly probable that MIA struggles to win 7 games. All of this adds up to a situation that becomes extremely appealing.

Honestly, Diaz is the only thing going right for the program. From the TO Chain , to our defense carrying us. Sheesh....this would hurt

Holy ****e I’m over here worrying about recruits ditching and we might lose Diaz!!!!

Holy **** we would literally be a 5-7 team at best without manny

Why doesn't Temple just bring back the guy that put their program on the map?
