Diaz D EXPOSED

Its the O's fault.....we didnt have Willis.....it was cold......the players didnt care....Diaz wasnt into.....

Am I missing any excuses?
As usual.....playing against above average offense and getting ******* beat like a red headed step child.

And for those slurpers that come in here and say the O sucks....the O didnt give up 300+ yards in less than 3 quarters. The O didnt give up almost 200 yards to Taylor. And dont forget this is with their backup QB
What are you smoking? Totally irrational hate on the defense that was put in terrible position all night. What did you want, miami to win 3 to 0? D didnt play the best but your ignoring the whole part about our offenses historically bad performance.

I'm not conclusively judging Diaz's defense until I see it paired with at least a normal reasonably competent offense. Constantly having to defend short fields and carry the team is asking too much. People who are using this game to take a swipe at Diaz seem.... ill-motivated.

Diaz's D was exposed a long time ago, even before he got here. That's why he got fired from Texas and was barely keeping his head above water at Miss. St.

Most of his success here has come against dismal ACC and G5 offenses; anytime he's gone up against a functional offense he's struggled.

At each previous stop Diaz has been exposed. And the Clemson game was that for his time here. Clemson scored at will and could've scored 70 easily, if Dabo didn't show mercy. (And against K. Bryant, no less.)

And after a long off season to ponder and improve, he gets worked by an average LSU offense, putting the game out of reach by halftime.

There are plenty of examples to show the truth of Manny's defenses -- tonight was just another to add to the list.

Just so you know this is not the only game I am using. I have been saying this for 2 years. Not saying Diaz sucks but his D will not win championships(conference or National)

Dudes making drunk threads dogging each coach 1 by 1 as misdirected and justifiable hate for Richt and not to be redundant in bashing Richt.

Thank you sir !!

Pat Bethel is just not a DT

Nkosi perry has bigger legs than him. Yall gonna learn next year son. lol. Willis will most definately be missed. We need ANOTHER Grad transfer dt....because nothing behind Willis truly impressed to a level of thinking of replacing production.

We have Nesta who looked real good tonight and he is the future. The issue is not having a good 1 tech to compliment Nesta.

Because you right, Pat has chicken legs and if he’s our best 1-Tech, that’s the real issue. It took a Gerald Willis to consistently cover up Bethel’s inadequacy.

Nesta flashed certainly more than bethel did who looked non existent out there which is unacceptable considering he’s started all year pretty much. Jon ford was in the back field too

Lmao people mad at Manny. Dude checked the F out. If he’s D played well great, if they didn’t oh well. He’s off this sinking ship

We need a grad transfer dt because that what essentially Tito and Gerald Willis were in our rotation. We arent recruiting any DTs that are ready to line up next season. I think we should taget a grad transfer dt again for a stop gap. Jon Ford hasnt taken the next step as yet which i knew he would be a work in progress. Bethel is what he is at this point. He's a solid rotational guy that starts at the 1...because he is apparently our strongest guy there...which really isnt saying much imo.

Tito played GOOD snaps for us this year.

Do you realize that he's playing without his 2 best defensive lineman, one of which is an all-american??
Willis was very smart to not play tonight, getting pushed around would have pushed him back to 5 or 6 round. We all thought last year DTs were very good also and look what they have accomplished in the league.

giving up 47.4 ypc in no way diminishes our CFB playoff level defense nor the brilliant job Manny Diaz has done

seriously, mvp should go to the ESPN camerman for finding a way to keep UM defenders in the same shot as Wisky RBs

Good ≠ Great

We've made that mistake all year when talking about our D (and Manny).

Good ≠ Great

Just because our offense is the inverse of "Great"

And so concludes your Algebra 1 lesson. This can actually serve as a coursework credit at MDCC. You're welcome.
