Diaz D EXPOSED

That's because when we do play a good offense and shut them down people try to claim that their offense sucks.

That is BS. Just look at those "good" offenses when they play other OOC opponents. They get their schit pushed in. No on in the coastal/FSU has a good offense. WKUs defense did better against UW and their O scored the same number of points as us.

Funny you ask, because every time I bring up the stats of the decent offenses we face people say "stats aren't everything, eye test bro" or "cuz they are playing against trash coastal teams". Not wasting my time going through this for a 4th time, especially considering it's 5am where I'm at.

Cause you cant name a good offense we shut down.....Name 1

I give the D a D+ today. They played poorly and allowed the offensive line to control them.

But it is overshadowed by the F the offense earned.

Decent defensive coordinator, but not one who is creative and he depends far too heavily on the blitz. Part of that though is our players as we didn't have anyone that is consistently a physical threat one v one besides Willis.

Now that I brought up Willis, I have to say I don't buy the hand injury as an excuse for not playing. I've seen guys play with arms in a cast. Shaq played with a **** torn rotator cuff last year. Let's call it what it is. He was advised to start rehab on it, but never told to sit out. Players opting out of their final game opportunities are part of what today's problems are and unimaginable just a few short years ago.

Defense demoralized on the first drive? When they just ran the ball straight down their throat just like last year
we talking about the first drive? didn't know the game was over than. for the rest of the game the offense had 5 turnovers and 6 first downs. Get the **** off your soap box

Funny they had 5 drives of over 50 yards....not sure how they got 333 yards rushing with a backup QB......ONE job...stop taylor

I don't disagree. What i will add though is blame can't be heavily laid on the O when D fails to get 3rd down stops and D can't be blamed when O goes 3 out and constant turnovers.

Miami's O lost this game, not the D.

WKU gave up 34...that was without their QBs throwing 4 INTs.

They lost the game on both sides of the trenches. Our D got gashed when it mattered and our offense still can't get a pass completed.

Again, I don't disagree. However, if the O was more consistent, I do beleive the D makes more stops.

This game was essentially an artificial situational spring game with how the Miami O was just totally ineffective.

Yup 34. We gave up 35. They had 2 turnovers and they went up against Hornibrook. If we went against Hornibrook it would have been an anal raping.

If we went against Hornibrook it would've been better for us because they would've stopped running the ball down our throats.

If Hornibrook was playing they would have been able to run it even more down our throats because we wouldn't be able to stack the box. Not only that, but our DBs had enough trouble defending this lacrosse players throws. Hornibrook would have SHREDDED them like he did last year.

Diaz's D was exposed a long time ago, even before he got here. That's why he got fired from Texas and was barely keeping his head above water at Miss. St.

Most of his success here has come against dismal ACC and G5 offenses; anytime he's gone up against a functional offense he's struggled.

At each previous stop Diaz has been exposed. And the Clemson game was that for his time here. Clemson scored at will and could've scored 70 easily, if Dabo didn't show mercy. (And against K. Bryant, no less.)

And after a long off season to ponder and improve, he gets worked by an average LSU offense, putting the game out of reach by halftime.

There are plenty of examples to show the truth of Manny's defenses -- tonight was just another to add to the list.

12 threw 3 picks and completed 1 pass past the line of scrimmage lol. The fact that they only have 21 points is a great job on Defense.

And ****ed up a read by handing ball to RB as the DE was already dry humping Homer's leg.
