Diaz's D was exposed a long time ago, even before he got here. That's why he got fired from Texas and was barely keeping his head above water at Miss. St.
Most of his success here has come against dismal ACC and G5 offenses; anytime he's gone up against a functional offense he's struggled.
At each previous stop Diaz has been exposed. And the Clemson game was that for his time here. Clemson scored at will and could've scored 70 easily, if Dabo didn't show mercy. (And against K. Bryant, no less.)
And after a long off season to ponder and improve, he gets worked by an average LSU offense, putting the game out of reach by halftime.
There are plenty of examples to show the truth of Manny's defenses -- tonight was just another to add to the list.
