Diaz back out recruiting per Darrow

Doesn't mean much in my opinion. He has a contractual obligation to Miami to do this.

His part could be over with and now its on the agents and attorneys to work out the details. He isn't going to sit around and wait for a deal to happen that might not and breach his obligations to miami.

****. Schiano is a great choice there.
Built Rutgers up very close
HC experience
NFL experience

No brainer

For all we know, Manny could have a deal with Temple already done, but an agreement not to announce anything until after early signing day. Lots could be happening right now.

Having him back out recruiting is better than him not being out recruiting. So there's that.

The timeline has been to interview candidates Monday and Tuesday, with an announcement on a new HC most likely Wednesday or Thursday.

Manny was in the group that interviewed Monday. There is zero correlation between him getting/not getting the Temple job and him currently recruiting. Zero. They're still interviewing candidates today. He's just doing his current job.

Temple isn't going to hire him and agree to keep it a secret so he can continue to work for his former employer while they miss out on recruits who are waiting for a new HC to be named lol.

If that’s so, and a recruit asks him what’s up, what does he say “No comment”?
