Nickel greatly improved in this area his senior year, think his playmaking ability is one of his better attributes.Possibly ranked a little high... but make no mistake...Dia is very good.
He's savvy, extremely smooth, has really good pocket presence, avoids a lot of sacks, always knows how/where to find his WR's during his scramble and he can hurt you a little bit if he takes off. He also doesn't turn the ball over a lot.
I've coached against him 3 years in a row, and I've coached against Nickel. He's better than Nickel. He's far better at improvising and extending plays when nothing is there.
It's not Dia's arm talent, it's his overall command of the offense.

Sometimes they just don’t have it. They only have it for the HS level. That’s their peak a lot of the time. He’s been in the same offense for 3 years.
How many years does he need to be a productive HS quarterback given his physical talent?
No he hasn't. This is his 2nd year with the current OC. And he was injured most of last season. He’s been in the same offense for 3 years.

Still nothing like Dia's though.Nickel greatly improved in this area his senior year, think his playmaking ability is one of his better attributes.

You're right, I am on this hill alone, cause I'm the only one here who's coached against the kid(s).Feel your on this hill alone.. will he run to revisit in a few years and see what happens.
How does he look like ****?Got it.
So he needs how many years to not look like **** against kids he’s supposed to be better than?
I'm on the hill with you. Bell is very good. One of the smoother QBs I've seen just in terms of actions, always being on balance and staying calm. You're right, I am on this hill alone, cause I'm the only one here who's coached against the kid(s).
We can revisit this all you want. We're not talking about college, we're talking about right now.
How are yall gonna disagree with a guy who's game-planned and played against a kid 3 years in a row?
dia bell got hurt....You're right, I am on this hill alone, cause I'm the only one here who's coached against the kid(s).

OK, then why is he still at Texas? Any legit shot there to play or start? I haven’t been keeping up with the QB backup situation at Texas so I have no idea who surrounds him in terms of quarterback pecking order.
Are you new here, Coach?
