Here's a novel concept: perhaps the initial commitment to UGA can be chalked up to a 16-17 year old making a not-very-well-thought-out decision based on a visit high and the decommitment 24-hrs later was the result of the adult in the room (Mom) wanting her son make a well-informed decision by looking at all of his options. This would possibly (I could be completely wrong here) be the reason why he's looking at schools ALONG WITH the hometown 'Canes.
