Not really if loyalty meant anything no amount of money can change how a player feels about a school. I'm pretty sure UM came with a better than great offer. Everyone has said that UM has been on this kid the longest and has recruited him the hardest. D. Street even said UT literally came in the picture 3months ago and he looks to be flipping or changing his mind and going to UT. How is that even possible if the home team has been doing everything they're supposed to do? This doesn't happen in Texas, Gerogia, **** parts of Florida don't seem to have these problems.
Miami....sfla has a problem getting the cream of the crop to stay home and play at UM. They also have problems identifying the kids in sfla who may not be highly ranked, but clearly has talent and should be layups to come to UM because they are too busy chasing/focusing on the 5 star players. This is the curse Mario has to figure out.....you're **** if you do and **** if you don't!!
I'll say it again when these kids jump from school to school as youth the loyalty and pride to not stay home is ingrained in these sfla kids at a young age and doing the best for them is priority 1; much respect, but we can't get mad when those same kids don't pick UM.
