Wait are you saying that we could win consecutive titles but not get the the Jeremiah Smiths of South FL? Man I'd take the titles every day of the week.
I got him to transfer to me in 25 and he proceeded to shatter every single rushing record in the bookNo but when I got him in the portal in my CFB26 dynasty he put up 2,200 yards. There’s still hope for him.
Me too. And that can certainly be done. I just don't think that we'll get the Jeremiahs of the future.Wait are you saying that we could win consecutive titles but not get the the Jeremiah Smiths of South FL? Man I'd take the titles every day of the week.
never thought he was a 5 star. He looks more like a 4 star tbh so I am ok with this. The Hiter (whatever tf his name is) is the true 5 star back this cycle imo.
I was repeating what he said.Miami isn’t winning any titles without the Jeremiah Smiths and it isn’t getting the Jeremiah Smiths until it gets a Jeremiah Smith and he becomes a top draft pick.

We are a complete joke of a program in regards to putting WRs in the top 3 rounds since the early 00's, he made best choice for him n went to a current proven WR factory, its literally that simple. Start putting kids in the NFL like Ohio State and I Promise you we will land a Jeremiah Smith one day.Winning is irrelevant.
All winning will do…even consecutive titles…is make the excuse different. It will become a message about playing time and a “loaded Miami roster…I felt I could make a more immediate impact at (x) school.”
We will never get a Jeremiah Smith type South Florida player. Not in a year. Not in ten years. Not in ten centuries. Never. Ever.
Who else other than the Toledo hc?He missed on some better options and the Gattis was unhappy stuff got out in coaching ditches . So it was good timing and perception is I just took the Broyles winner from Michigan. Imo it was as much a PR hire than it was quality.
I have no idea what their room looks like at the moment. (They’ve obviously had more success lately) But there is something there. We have 2 awesome backs this year (one of whom will be here at least another year beyond this upcoming one), added a kid who completely dominated the FCS as a true freshman, and a top recruit. And I’m not saying he’s scared of competition bc i think it’s smart to be realistic. As important as he is bc of where he’s from and his skill level, he plays the least valuable position on the field and there’s only 1 ball to go aroundHard to say this far out. They are still going to try and flip Cooper if he commits to Texas. I don’t see the contract being an issue there if he changes his mind.
This isn’t the main reason (we need to win more and recruit better), but I heard Cooper likes Texas’s depth chart better next year. They have missed more than I thought at that position.

Exactly. This is also why i was so confused when judkins transferred to osu. It’s a non-premium position. I’d want to go to where I could have the best chance to standout. You’ll get the majority of their rb budget, you’ll get probably 100% of the team’s local and national brand deals given to the rb position. And then come the draft you’re not splitting time with another awesome back. It’s a position I’d be really careful of competition if i was themI've thought of this. Plus, at RB with the way college football is now, these kids are really trying to maximize their dollars. Aside from an Adrian Peterson type is a RB worth top dollar? I don't think so.
True. The opposite was when USC had ten blue chip running backs at one time about a dozen years ago.I have no idea what their room looks like at the moment. Judkins basically was kicked out of ole miss they were done with him he was a cancer n a f*ck up. as u can see this week he just was arrested for domestic violence continuing his f*ck up nessExactly. almost all them dts transferred out from am i think only stewart and one other were left lolTrue. The opposite was when USC had ten blue chip running backs at one time about a dozen years ago.
On the other hand, competition didn’t seem to scare off the veritable army of defensive tackles that A&M signed in 2022, or the swarm of DTs that Georgia has now.
