never thought he was a 5 star. He looks more like a 4 star tbh so I am ok with this. The Hiter (whatever tf his name is) is the true 5 star back this cycle imo.

You’re a parent of one of these kids, you sending your kid to go play for golden or manny over saban? We opened the flood gate ourselves and now those kids saw their role models ball out at top programs and said hmm maybe I can do the same. All the while we’re getting bent over by mid teams in the ACC.

It’s going to take awhile to reverse that trend, and winning is the best remedy since it’s directly in the programs control. Conference, atmosphere, etc problem are what they are. Just win.

Winning is irrelevant.

All winning will do…even consecutive titles…is make the excuse different. It will become a message about playing time and a “loaded Miami roster…I felt I could make a more immediate impact at (x) school.”

We will never get a Jeremiah Smith type South Florida player. Not in a year. Not in ten years. Not in ten centuries. Never. Ever.

We are a has been program. The good ole days are gone and people can’t accept it. That will never happen here again…..ever

OB was half filled in the 80s 90s and early 2000s but we were winning. Last time I checked the 58 game home winning streak was during that time. UM fans are largely made up of people who never ever step foot on campus in Coral Gables and not even from the sfla area. Fans show up and pack the stadium for maybe 2 or 3 homes games a year and that has always been the case. So if you want to continue to use all those excuse listed above than that's your opinion and your right, but we can't get mad when the big time sfla kids decide to go elsewhere.

Miami isn’t winning any titles without the Jeremiah Smiths and it isn’t getting the Jeremiah Smiths until it gets a Jeremiah Smith and he becomes a top draft pick.

What was the point....the only thing I took away far your op was not getting the top talent in sfla. Winning is an excuse that other programs in the same boat as UM don't seems to have a problem with!!

If the fan base is anthing like recruting all the loyal ones are out of state lol im from South Carolina and Utah! Was just trash talking 2 gators last night at a sports bar! Dude said can we be friends i said na if your a gator fan u dont love yourself how u gone love me bro!? Im 37 never been to a Cane game i have 1 and 2 year old boys I really want to take them soon gotta make sure there Cane fans growing up!
