Don’t want.
Don’t want.
miss me with all that "not trusting the school" nonsense. this was just last month. just up the bag of whatever the amount texas is offering that is making him lean.
do you write blank checks ?So we missed on everyone and we can’t pony up for Cooper???
Mario dodging bullets like Neo this cycle
Never said it wasIt may not necessarily that simple. Kids are not selling their services on ebay with money being the only factor.
what are we in the twilight zone?.
we are a few days away from uga boards and clemson boards crying scared of MIAMI being the boogie man with NIL...**** EVEN LSU BOARDS.
Man THAT DMONEY FORECLOSURE GOT EVERY ONE ACTIN LIKE THIS...
WE AINT GONNA NEVER HAVE THE MONEY OF TEXAS....OR MOST OF THE ELITE BAG SCHOOLS..BUT THEY ARE SCARED OF US N THINK WE HAVE COKE MONEY. LOL
If something doesn’t make sense it’s most likely cap that’s whyHaving to win to keep sf kids home and why does UM need to win to change the narrative about this program when others who are in the same boat don't. You think sf kids give a **** or even know what a blue blood is or mean? I only stated what I think is wrong with kids not wanting or feel obligated to stay home and go to UM.
Lincoln is trash
**** the BIG
**** the SEC
Blue bloods means nothing
Miami has to to win because this the U not because we want kids to come play here!!
never thought he was a 5 star. He looks more like a 4 star tbh so I am ok with this. The Hiter (whatever tf his name is) is the true 5 star back this cycle imo.
Winning is irrelevant.I honestly don’t even know what you are trying to say.
The problem is not with the kids down here. It’s the trash product we’ve put out for two decades, and the fact that it takes time to change the perception of the program. Mario doesn’t exactly do himself any favors either.
You talk about it being a loyalty problem when we don’t even have fans show up to half our games. Then you wonder why a kid may be drawn to the idea of playing in a sold out stadium on CBS.
You’re a parent of one of these kids, you sending your kid to go play for golden or manny over saban? We opened the flood gate ourselves and now those kids saw their role models ball out at top programs and said hmm maybe I can do the same. All the while we’re getting bent over by mid teams in the ACC.
It’s going to take awhile to reverse that trend, and winning is the best remedy since it’s directly in the programs control. Conference, atmosphere, etc problem are what they are. Just win.
Yrs but he will jump back to a 5* once he commits to UT…
1. Lincoln is a known winner and they are Big 10 now which helps. Anomoly year for them though and probably spending big. Inflated currently due to # of commits
3. Agreed on TAMU, but they SEC and will pay any amount necessary
Comparing our situation to ND and UT is laughable. ND just played for a national title and UT for a shot at the title game and they are the bluest of bloods in the sport. The **** are you even talking about?
FactsWinning is irrelevant.
All winning will do…even consecutive titles…is make the excuse different. It will become a message about playing time and a “loaded Miami roster…I felt I could make a more immediate impact at (x) school.”
We will never get a Jeremiah Smith type South Florida player. Not in a year. Not in ten years. Not in ten centuries. Never. Ever.
We haven’t wrote any checks…have you seen the past monthdo you write blank checks ?

OB was half filled in the 80s 90s and early 2000s but we were winning. Last time I checked the 58 game home winning streak was during that time. UM fans are largely made up of people who never ever step foot on campus in Coral Gables and not even from the sfla area. Fans show up and pack the stadium for maybe 2 or 3 homes games a year and that has always been the case. So if you want to continue to use all those excuse listed above than that's your opinion and your right, but we can't get mad when the big time sfla kids decide to go elsewhere.
Wait are you saying that we could win consecutive titles but not get the the Jeremiah Smiths of South FL? Man I'd take the titles every day of the week.Winning is irrelevant.

What was the point....the only thing I took away far your op was not getting the top talent in sfla. Winning is an excuse that other programs in the same boat as UM don't seems to have a problem with!!“But we were winning”
Bruh… you just proved my entire point…
If the fan base is anthing like recruting all the loyal ones are out of state lol im from South Carolina and Utah! Was just trash talking 2 gators last night at a sports bar! Dude said can we be friends i said na if your a gator fan u dont love yourself how u gone love me bro!? Im 37 never been to a Cane game i have 1 and 2 year old boys I really want to take them soon gotta make sure there Cane fans growing up!OB was half filled in the 80s 90s and early 2000s but we were winning. Miami isn’t winning any titles without the Jeremiah Smiths and it isn’t getting the Jeremiah Smiths until it gets a Jeremiah Smith and he becomes a top draft pick.
Those fools, he is supposed to drop after he signs with us, not before
