I have no problem with Jennings starting in the Middle but McCloud playing Will is terrible it must mean Sam Brooks and Avery Huff havent developed enough to be trusted in a starting role yet.
Will is his natural position, if anything we want him there. Mike is a concern f4 me he doesn't read n react good enough to be a mike, that's why jennings came out of nowhere to take his spot.

Sam backer is actually his natural position...

We just replaced the Strong Side LB with the Hybrid Striker in our scheme to have an extra Defender with more versatile skill set being able to drop back in coverage, rather than playing too much Base 4-3.

I’m not as worried about OL, WR, or LB as I used to be, but I am concerned about CB and DT. I think we lack serious depth at both positions. And I’m also worried about our talent at CB.

We're 6 to 7 Deep at DT, Jared Harrison-Hunte is an athletic freak at DT, Jade Silvera, Jon Ford & Jordan Miller are all stout run stuffers & Jalar Holley is a quick nimble feet big man who can rush the passer.

Plus we're 8 Deep at DE, our DL's don't just run straight forward every snap, they stunt & attack multiple gaps & give several different looks on the front 7... DLine is literally the strongest unit on the team with the most depth.

CB is a question mark. We have good talent with Blades, Couch & Williams, Ivey supposedly has had a really good camp, but I'll wait until I see it on the field before I believe it & Marcus Clarke has really good talent & upside but won't play much this year aside from ST's.

You're only as strong as your weakest link & if we can solve our CB issues that we had from last season we'll be a **** good top 10 Defense, but it remains to be seen if that actually happens.

Jermaine Grace & Juwon Young got kicked off the team before the season & Darrion Owens got injured.

If those things didn't happen, none of the trio of Shaq, McCloud or Pinckney would've started as TF's.
Does “starting” in Diaz scheme even matter though? I agree that those 3 wouldn’t have regularly started but I recall a TF bandy carter and garvin all running to the end zone together against ND on that bandy pick 6. I remember thinking wow 3 TF on D on a drive to close out the half? Diaz just seems to rotate so much not sure if starting really matters aside from a personal feeling when you see the depth chart.

If TVD wasnt out, then he would have easily been qb2. Linebackers and secondary scares me a lot.

Miller has played enough to be really confident in the first 3... Add Harrison-Hunte and Holley.. That position is more than fine in my
opinion..
Its definitely weaker than its been in the last few years, but it definitely is not a major problem on our team. But some of the dt units we had in the past were insane. We got bigger problems at the db postiton. I am very nervous about the cbs
