Depth Chart for UNC

It's crazy talk. Even 5-star OL struggle adjusting to the college game.
Wanya Morris , Clark’s Teammate 5 star olineman from Grayson was getting abused at times for Tennessee vs Georgia state last week so it happens in general and whether rated highly or not

I need Jonathan garvin to really step it up. He hasn’t had a sack in any game since the Boston college game last year which was 7 games ago. That’s a long drought for what’s expected to be your top pass rusher

Manny said that he was unblockable against UF.

‘09 UNC vs Miami is currently airing on acc network. Marve was our qb this game

With respect to Reed, watch the level of football in his high school tape. He was a man among boys. Compare that to Clark's competition at Greyson.
That may be true, but Reed has been in a S&C program for 2 years now, Clark just got here literally a couple of months ago.

Maybe Jakai comes in & hits the ground running as a Guard, but I'm skeptical putting another True Freshman on the line is going to help overall. I'm fully on board with kicking Scaife out to RT if Campbell is still struggling, but replacing his RG spot with another TF just seems like we're making ourselves vulnerable.

I mean what's wrong with Reed's development he's getting passed up by a TF who just got on campus a few months ago & Coach Barry is willing to just chance it with Clark rather than give Reed a shot?

I was just about to post something similar, while less eloquent. We really only had 1 play that featured poor tackling, which is pretty **** good for the first game of the year. And like you said we only gave up 52 yards rushing. Miss me with the over the top concern with our D, tackling and run D.
These dudes love peddling fear more that The Weather Channel. They tremble more than Mike Fox.

I guess technically they've both received the same amount of competent College S&C coaching!

Right..Clemson & Bama, & OU, all put 3 bonafide difference makers on the field.
Alabaga played feeble weak Devontae Smith as a true freshman, and he was less physical than Stephen Hawking. We saw how physical he was on that recruiting video where he got ran off the field and flung into the bench like a sloppy booger by a HS DB.

They didn’t much care about his blocking when he broke one off in Georgia’s *** to win a NC.

If Clark starts at right guard instead of Reed and Campbell is kicked out of the starting lineup then that 2018 O line class we were so high on looks like a bust. 1 hit with 2 misses is bad when you consider that a 2 star and a 3 star freshmen are starting over those 2 misses.
Awfully early to label an OL a bust. Lots of them don’t really develop until 3 years out of HS. But you guys love trying to be first to call our players garbage.

Could just be athleticism and not having the quickness to block speed at this level-

"Reed did not complete all tests to compile a SPARQ score, but you can see from the events he did test in that he is a below-average athlete. More of a power G, Reed had a tough transition to the speed and explosiveness of college football. Reed has the profile of a depth player, but with improved conditioning could work his way into solid starter territory."

I’m shocked Reed hasn’t developed enough to get PT.

Interesting to read that now cause kid was an All-American in high school. Was expecting big things from him at guard
