Depth Chart for UNC

Campbell has been here two springs, played in 4 games last year, and has enjoyed the benefits of college-level S&C during that time. He just isn't a tackle. No amount of time or development is going to fix that imo. It's not his fault that Searels recruited nothing but guards. Meanwhile, teams like Bama, UGA, ND have recruited so well that they can start 5 tackles at every position along the OL. We've got it all totally backwards, man. Alex leatherwood and Evan Neal are allowed to apprentice at guard before graduating to tackle while our best tackle recruit of the last 10 years is a 350lb guard with slow feet. **** my life.

He’s only a redshirt freshman, maybe let’s let him develop some more. If clark is playing he’s showing something and Dmoney Hinted at him possibly playing guard a few weeks back

I hope it means Clark is some monster we stole out of Georgia and not that we have no other viable options. I don’t have much faith that he is some unknown monster.

He was committed to Auburn once upon a time. So there is that. A couple weeks ago I questioned keeping him at center since it seemed like he made an early impression and Gaynor has three years left. This is an encouraging sign.

Said it multiple times that our o-line recruiting has been awful when targeting tackles. We have been beat to sleep on the recruiting trail. Tackles cost high dollar though and we aren’t willing to spend that. **** Neal started at Guard game 1 for Bama. Man we got to find a way to win these recruiting battles in the trenche$$$$$$$$$$

Clark played at a big-time program and is very smart. Even though he is a year younger than those two, he is more advanced coming in.
Ft. Meade is also an excellent program but they play in a very small school classification.

I thought Martell was behind Perry for Florida which was why he tried WR. I never saw the chart just going by what I heard.

He's at WR, they just have him listed at QB but he's taking reps at WR.

Manny said on his radio interview this morning that they're going to have a special package for Tate where he'll get direct snaps & will be playing basically a WR/Wildcat QB.

The backup QB is Perry.

Still kind of odd that they list him as the #2 QB on the chart. I wish he would have made the correct read on the DE the last time he lined up at QB and walked into the end zone. But then I also wish Finley would have used the sideline and his blocking during his int and walked in as well. I just need a good game to put the last one behind me.

You noticed those two as well I see

Every single one? You sure about that? Based on Bethune doing it?

Some programs put more of an emphasis on playmaking than they do blocking. Blocking is nice like I said. But your WRs need to, first and foremost, be explosive playmakers who catch the football and are a constant threat to put it in the end zone.

What are you nuts? Bethune SHREDS elite defenses with their blocking WRs. We need to do whatever their WRs coaches say to do. If they think converting our 3 WRs into extra lineman is the best bet. That is what we need to do. Maybe one day, if we get our WRs blocking well enough, or offense will be as good as Bethunes.
