Depth Chart for UNC

I’m looking for patch to still maintain the majority of snaps (until obvious pass down) because I think our gameplan will and should be stop Carter from running all over us. Really good back

I think we may have a informant my fellow cane soldiers . @OrangeBowlMagic lol j'k
but still bro this does not make sense at all. I need and i'm sure others want some answers!
(O.K. so he transferred he was still able to play getting in at STA in their requirements.) Whats the hold up?

Trust me, I used to coach down there. Transferring is very, very, very common in $outh florida. I know some of the high school school requirements brother I just need clarification and reassurance .

AND Still F^*' THE NCAA ....lol GO CANES! :stormwarningflag-sm:

Oh there's no doubt, it's ALWAYS f*ck the NCAA. Never any doubt about that. But this site is ridiculous with the conspiracy nonsense. The NCAA isn't out to get Miami. If anything, they're equally ***-backwards with just about every program. But regardless, whether there's a bias or not, these are stringent requirements and apparently they weren't met. The same thing happened to Tamorrion Terry at FSU 2 years ago. People blame Jimbo for redshirting him. It wasn't Jimbo's call, he was an academic redshirt per the NCAA.

Brock hit it on the head though. Better to have him here and learning versus at a Juco.

The real crime is by the staff, not the NCAA. They knew this a long time ago. And they still only took him and Brooks. And this is after taking 1 LB in 2018, and all the injuries to the 2017 kids. Just hope nothing happens to 55 or 56 this year and we'll be ok.

No, the gameplan vs Franks was to cut the field in half & contain him in the run game.

The game plan vs Howell should be to force him to come off his first read & speed up his decision making by bringing pressure right up the middle with A-gap blitzes while the DE's collapse the pocket off the edge.

He's a TF making his 2nd start ever, so we need to rattle him early by hitting him as often as possible.
Absolutely agree with this. We need to hammer Howell as early and often as possible. Rattle his cage.

No changes from Week 0 as expected.

I do however want to see Rousseau & Hill get more snaps, nothing against Patchan he's a good run defender, but they're faster & more explosive pass rushers than him & it'll be important for us to collapse the pocket this week vs Sam Howell.

Also look forward to seeing more players get snaps on Offense. Hightower, Payton, Pope, Wiggins, Mallory & even Irvin Jr all need to play more, and if Lingard & Robert Burns are healthy play them too.

No sense in having all these players sitting on the bench if we're not moving the ball just throwing it to Brevin on every play.
Hey, quick question. Do you have any of these from last year? I always wondered why our QB's name changed a few games in. Like all of a sudden he was RO-zur after like 15 starts as ro-ZIER.

Respect ! @OrangeBowlMagic If this is indeed the case and they knew about this? This staff failed miserable. We took a L this off season in recruiting at the LB position. I agree on the logic my brother of better to have him here then to go Juco. Man now i'm nervous. Smh I'll be right back i'm bout to go light up some sage and incense. Praying and baring away all injuries ! lol J'K

I think this is clear. The real question is HOW is Manny going to do it? Only rush 4? If that's the case, that makes me nervous. Garvin is great, but he can be doubled/chipped/etc. Who else is going to win their 1v1 battle? We're going to have to mix blitzing with completely different looks to fool the kid. Can't afford to drop back into a soft zone and only rush 4, hoping that someone can beat their guy 1v1. For the most part, we struggled to rush Franks when we only rushed 4.

Everybody traveling, should play. Handle business and blow these boys out

We'll send combinations of Shaq, Pinckney & a Safety on multiple types of blitzes, but the Double A-gap Blitz will be the LB's all day.

Yup.

Force the young guy to get happy feet & start thinking a lot faster than he wants to.

Can't let'em sit back there & get comfortable, I would send Pinckney at'em every down on delays, stunts & straight forward Blitzes all game.

We held Florida to 52 yards rushing not including the 1 sack on Franks. We should absolutely shut down UNC's run game. I'm hoping we play tight man or cover 2 man under to take away the short passing game and force the true freshman QB to beat us deep.

The game is sold out. They'll be all hyped up after their week 1 win. It's about us playing to our standard. Time to punch them in the mouth and take our "W" !!!!!!
UNC can throw the deep ball. They have talent at WR. I say let's put the QB on the ground.

Mike Harley must be the team snitch...I don’t understand why Hightower, Wiggins, or Pope isn’t starting there in front of him. Harley gives us nothing.

It’s a lot of the same **** that has plagued us for awhile here. They focus on stuff that doesn’t necessarily translate to making plays at WR. They over-reward hustle and blocking. Blocking is nice at WR, but give me the dude who is a TD waiting to happen.

Im currently looking at purchasing tickets, I don't believe it's sold out.

From a fan I hear you but every single college WR coach goes by the same things, I heard the same thing from my my god son who plays WR at Bethune
