Just so some of the late comers know, even in early 2000’s Miami fans always found anything to complain about.

It’s who we have always been as fans. anyways, I think everyone knows we have something real good brewing.
If they fix QB and OL and ST. I mean WTF is up? Amirite?!?!

I told my wife after the Toledo game that this was my last away game for a while I swear we are surrounded my so-called Miami fans that were complaining about every play. Even when we got 6 yards on the running play or we got a first down. I swear they must only read only these forum repeated the exact same thing over. My wife was thinking it sound like they almost wanted Miami to fail so they can say that they're right. I know at home games are still tons people like this but it's not as much at least we have some educated fans at home still. I just want to enjoy it for what it is.

That’s awesome that you went to game and supported team. So did those wearing orange and green around you.

They weren’t so-called Miami fans.

Those were Miami fans.

There has to be some in between. Middle of blind faith and mad about everything. I can see the overall plan Richt is putting into place, i can look at the team and say, RS Jrs, Srs and RS Srs were all recruited by Golden. No not all those players were bad but alot of those classes were lost to attrition which is why we have only 2 Fr TE and 3 FR QBs etc. I can see that depth at certain positions is being brought up and once it all gels together with Synergy we are gonna be a force and Richt will look like a genius play caller. But i also know not all of it is on personnel, some of it is coaching and legit questions need to be asked at times

Back in ancient days, when I was at the U, no one complained about the team's performance. We went to the OB to support the Canes and actually WATCH a game. Many times I sat next to opposing team fans and we would actually discuss what we saw on the field. No one trash talked. When tbe game was over, win or lose, we remembered what a good time we had. MONEY and the NCAA have ruined this mystique. If you can't relate all I can say is you shoulda been there. For the youngsters on this board, back in those days the play by play announcer always called us MIAMA......not Miami.....I can still hear it, "Miama's ball on the LSU 5 yard line"......Man, life was goooood back then!
 
We're one of the few fan bases who have witnessed it. Hard to accept anything less once you've experienced that.

I remember *****in and moaning to put in crudup over Berlin and then he plays and makes malik look like cam newton
 
I don't demand perfection, my expectations are commiserate with the talent level of the players & the Coach.

If Richt is as great as people say he is then shouldn't we expect great results? And if year 3 is too early then when? (I'm being for real, tell me when so I can stfu about it lol)

Should I just lower my expectations? I'm asking honestly, because I don't want to come off as a whiny fan, I just call it as I see it.

The season ain't over yet & I'm still as hopeful as anyone we go on a run & win every game, its just going to take a lot to go in our favor for that to happen.
