Defense sucked so badly...

People can harp on Mario blah blah or Dawson, but the defense and throw in refs cost us this game as much as anyone. Take that TD off before half for Louisville, and Miami kicks game tying FG late.

Defense was horrendous though. Just terrible. Worst game all season. 3 TFL and no sacks. Too many injuries on that side. Lichtenstein, Gore. Chantz having to play waay too much. No pressure. Bad tackling.

Yea this loss was totally on the defense today. As good as Guidry has been all year, I thought he got out coached in this game. They hadn’t thrown to their TEs all year but they clearly saw something on film, exploited it, and Guidry made no adjustments. Ironically, TVD has a decent game and our defense loses the game. You can’t make this stuff up.

Guidry got completely schooled.

Our lack of depth showed. Losing Taylor left a huge hole in the middle. Our tackling had gotten so much better this year but was dog today.

Our pass rush is awful without blitzing. Our LBs couldnt cover a TE to save their life.

Just an all out terrible game for the D today.

D has played well all year I think this team is running on fumes at this point

Then maybe get healed up and maybe tvd can play reasonable w no turnovers and if we get the right matchup , maybe win a **** bowl game for once and finish 8-5. Yippee

Brohm put on an absolute clinic on how to attack an aggressive defense without many dudes. He had our defenders running in circles.

Wasn’t just LBs. Safeties too. Really outcoached us, but everyone usually does in one or two phases
