DeeJay's production is going to be a forgotten story this season

At least we see DJ, what happened to Hightower?
Maybe not as much as his fam wants but he plays a little. We just don’t target him. I really wish we would target him more on some of those deep balls and fades in the redzone. Probably the only WR we have that can high point a ball in traffic.

Dallas is averaging 13 touches per game. That number should be closer to 20.
Thomas averages 5 touches per game on offense. Should be 10.
Jordan is averaging 4 receptions per game. Should be closer to 6 or 7.

I know it makes sense for a running back to preserve the legs / body and go pro early—but wouldn't be shocked if Dallas came back for one more go-around.

Homer was a late sixth-round pick. Six games in, hasn't touched the ball all year and made one special teams tackle.

Dallas seems to embody all things that a Miami Hurricane should be. Money talks—but this kid really does seem to love his current phase of his career. We'll see.
He's got a new baby too though, which may push him to leave to make money. I suppose it all comes down to how he's projected after the season.

I understand your point. But at RB, more so than any other position in football, you are better off leaving early and taking the money. Those guys get grinded down and beaten up. The life expectancy of an NFL RB is incredibly brief. And very few get drafted in the money rounds these days (only 2 drafted in the top 2 rounds last year).

Heard.

Your point about getting worn down is absolutely true and backs up your argument. But your point about only 2 being drafted in money rounds backs up mine. If you NEED the money or you are AP, Saquan, Leonard Fournette, Alvin Kamara, Zeke ect you go pro. Otherwise you should come back, lead your team and graduate.
