DE Shelton Johnson (Atlantic HS Delray Beach FL) 2015

Sad state of Miami football when you have to hope fsu runs out of room taking 4*/5* DEs just in order for our coach to land a great player like Johnson

Michigan is not no ******* #1. His coach said that the michigan visit was alright. Decided to visit them instead of ncstate or usf.

From what his coach said it doesn't sound like he is feeling michigan.

Coach didn't mention vt and sounded like it's between fsu & miami.

Said he might not make a decision until after nsd and may take a visit to ncstate or ohio st. Ohio st has been coming harder lately.

From the sound of it if fsu takes him he going there.

Atlantic’s Shelton Johnson still undecided on where he’ll play
Shelton Johnson may wait until after National Signing Day to make a college decision.

The Atlantic defensive end will take an official visit to Miami this weekend before visiting Florida State the weekend before signing day, leaving him with one official visit at his disposal.

“If he’s not comfortable enough to make a decision on signing day, he’ll probably wait until after signing day,” Atlantic coach Tavarius Jackson said. “It’s all up in the air right now.”

The 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect may take advantage of his one unused official visit if he isn’t convinced by Miami or Florida State. Jackson said Johnson would visit either Ohio State or North Carolina State after signing day if he still hasn’t made a college decision.

According to Jackson, Ohio State has made a “strong push” for Johnson recently. It has been a busy month for Johnson, as Michigan has also started to pursue him.

After receiving an offer from the Wolverines this month, he took an official visit to Michigan last weekend. But Johnson left the campus undecided.

“Shelton thought Michigan was OK,” Jackson said. “If he thought it was great, he probably would stop taking visits.”

Johnson, who is the only player among the PBgametime Class of 2015 Big Board top 10 who has not verbally committed to a school, finished with 104 tackles and 25 sacks as a senior. He was named The Palm Beach Post’s 2014 All-Area Large Schools Defensive Player of the Year.

After signing day? Lol. This kid is going to look up and all the big time schools are not going to have room! FSU is obviously looking at him as a Plan C. Let this kid walk IMO. He wants to be there that bad.

He will be an NFL type player. We aren't in the position to let that kinda talent "walk"

Lol at let this kid walk

Lorenzo Featherstone wanted to flip to the Canes his father or FSU wasn't going to let him just walk
