but what if Hurtt wants to be an NFL HC? he literally could have taken the DC job here last year and said ill stay in the NFL. his intentions are clear

Did you say the same about Saban?

No I was too busy cursing him for taking Culpepper over Brees. Saban felt the same and went to Alabama to rule. Hurtt isn't in Saban's position. He's a relatively anonymous DC, not one of the biggest names in the sport who had already won a national title and went back to what he was good at. Coaching college kids.

he's the DC for the national champions who will be looking for a 3 peat this year, he has absolutely no reason to leave for anything but a HC job
