I said this earlier in the OC thread. Home run. He’s currently unemployed. Shocked that Fickell did not retain him. He may go NFL or be looking for a HC position though.

1. Kevin Kane (although he already took a job with Purdue, so unlikely)
2. Corey Batoon
3. Shiel Wood
4. Kurt Mattix
5. Spencer Danielson

I would also take a long shot at Marquand Manuel, but I don’t think he’s even interested in coaching college.

Personally I’d go after Fraggle. That guy can defend the indefensible.

Agree I was shocked they didn’t offer him the job and even more he wasn’t retained on staff

I wouldn’t want to just promote Strong. Let him coach LBs and recruit his last few years before retirement. He’s 62, bring in someone who wants a HC job because of the job they do as UM DC. I’d circle back even on Campanile from Dolphins who has been interviewing for DC jobs this off-season.
