Before lighting games (**** the lightning), fans go to the bars around the area and walk over to the arena, and I could see that for the Rays.

Downtown St Pete is nice but nobody from Tampa/WC want to drive there and deal with the **** traffic to get there

Yeah it’s hard to draw ppl to games who live way In pasco, Lakeland, Brandon etc… a more centralized location would help everyone

The perfect place for a new stadium would be across or very near Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. In that destination people in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Hernando, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Hardy, Highlands, Manatee & Sarasota county would have reasonable distance to attend a game.

Signed,

Peruche

You're not wrong on geography. But they'd need to double the width of I-4 in that area to fix the traffic.

I don’t want to read all this menstruation, is he trending toward ou?

Based on the fact it’s dead silent from ppl in the know plus on Twitter. I’m not sure Miami is getting anyone today.

Check back in 4 hours and see if the board is on fire or not. Mirabel just tweeted a picture in the coliseum so that was pretty random. California also has a coliseum and he is in California playing football so maybe he is a Cane. Then maybe he isn’t.

Non function junction would be a nightmare. Not sure their is an ideal spot because of the e roads, highways and traffic. One side of the metro area is going to be **** out of luck either way. I-4 is a nightmare no matter the time of day.

Or Mirabel is in Rome on vacation 😂

I know someone who works for Hillsborough, he said they are considering doing an "ultimate I-4" project like Orlando did, but for the last 25 miles inside of Hillsborough (starting at County Line Road).

Miserable. You all expect 10 5 stars coming off an 5-7 season. Yes there are people hyping this **** up a little too much but I don’t have any expectations for this class. If Miami has a much better season then it’s possible to see another top 10 class. A lot of these recruits are seeing how we do this season.
10 5-stars? Absolutely not lol. But I guess I’m the bad guy here so…

Do I expect a better ratio than five players ranked outside the top 1000 and four 4-stars? Yeah ultimately I do…and it’ll get better, but time is of the essence before the season starts. July is ticking, Mitchell is just another cog in the wheel whether he commits or not, but in the chance he doesn’t…the more the misses stack up, the more you’re relying on flips. And the data shows Mario ain’t flipping 10 dudes.

So with that said, no I’m not moping and saying Mario is a trash recruiter because he’s not. He’s a very good one and he will land guys, as we’ve seen with Riley and Lightfoot. But those are two out of 16 right now, it’s time to go on a run in the summer and generate some momentum. We all said he needs his talent in order to be successful, so let’s grab the talent.

And? So is Facebook, and people still use it.
Entirely different use cases though. Facebook is for friends and family - which is why it's the most used social media there is. Instagram is to be fake/vain. Tik Tok is for kids with attention spans of goldfish and a legit a way for China to make us dummer. LinkedIn is entirely for business relationships and recruiting. Reddit is for anonymous conversations/****/incels. Twitter is for actual breaking news coverage and journalism. Pretty different for how censorship is handled/importance at all them.

10 5 stars was sarcasm. I’m just saying people have unrealistic expectations every single season on the field and recruiting.

I got you, and I’m not ragging on you in particular. I’m antsy for this wheel to get going and for us to experience something remotely similar to last year where we string some program-changing commits together. No offense to the kids currently committed, but maybe 3-4 of them provide instant-impact material. A fair amount have great tools or potential, but that doesn’t equate to more wins in the next year or two…which is what we ultimately need.

As we saw with last year’s team, we need WAYYYY more of those kids. We got a lot in ‘23 through the portal and high school, but we need to continue stacking talent if we want to be somewhat relevant again on the national landscape.

Mario signed 14 top 250 players last season. He has 3 right now. He’s likely trending to land 7-8 this class if we are being realistic given the board. All the ‘non-mopes’ keep saying they don’t worry about Mario recruiting with a U logo on his chest - well potentially landing half the amount of top 250 is cause for concern lol

Maybe we win 9 games and none of this matters but for now overall outside of this TE, you have to be a bit concerned

I know. I got ****ed about the Scott ordeal hearing from multiple “insiders” for weeks Miami feels good about him and then he commits to Osu but it’s whatever. Then hearing nonsense on how good of a June Miami was going to have. Hard to pull a kid from Chicago when you have teams like Osu, ND, Michigan to deal with in that area.

Yeah it’s going to be really interesting to see how this new stadium thing plays out. St. Pete put a good pitch out there but moving it over by Ybor would help so many more ppl. Problem by Ybor is traffic getting in and out of there.

A few places like Fergs would go under if they moved but I don’t think it changes much of the financial impact for the area sense they don’t draw big crowds anyways.

The move that makes the most sense is to move them to Tampa.
Best spot is where the Yankees training facilities are at next to Raymond James. Parking would already be situated but the Yankees will never let that happen
