David Njoku to LB?

With his length and athleticism, Njoku could develop into an absolute nightmare coming off the edge. We just need to see if he was a motor and the toughness need to play that position.

Guys on here are always crying about the lack of athleticism on defense. so we infuse some major athleticism there, and guys are still drowning in tears. We've got 25 WRs and we're struggling for depth at LB. And dudes are weeping over taking a guy who wouldn't sniff the field at WR this year and trying to help the defense with him.

Not sure if your being sarcastic.....but yea Crawford should have stayed at safety from the jump....they moved him from corner to slot wr to RB...remember when Golden wanted Crawford to lose weight so he can play corner....I have no faith in his decision making..Im pretty sure Crawford asked to move back to safety not the other way around

His weight was gonna move him to TE. Kid gained 10 lbs in less than two months since being here. Don't see many 240 lb sophomores who play WR in college. I'm not even sure why him playing LB would be an affront to their alleged WR sensibilities. They signed off on him being in Miami to begin with. What about LB would offend them?

Njoku is a name from N-ige-ria. From personal experience, Ni-gerian parents don't usually meddle in stuff like this anyway. (stupid censors think I'm spelling something else). They'll likely care more about what he does in the classroom than on the football field.

Translation: I was going to redshirt anyway and we don't have many LBs, so I figure I can help out and be a body, while proving to the coaches I'm a team guy. Then, they'll hopefully move me back to position I came to play. Also, no more ****ing questions.

This is not like when Randy Shannon decided to turn a blocking tight end into our primary kick returner.

This guy is a Freshman who will at most, will only see time on special teams, whether classified as being on offense or defense... Because he's a big body that can move, maybe the switch is a way to toughen him up for the "role" on special teams in a LB's slot to preserve the actual LB's that will see the field on defense.

Exactly....not sure why you have to throw a hissy fit when you have no idea what his dad thinks of this move
to LB.
Perhaps his dad is a matured grown man unlike some of the soFla handlers and just wants his son to work hard
