2027 David "DJ" Jacobs 5* DE from Roswell, GA (Blessed Trinity Catholic) Commits to OSU 2.0

I guess our definitions are different that’s all
Seems last year was 1 good one and a bunch of jags we gotta hope develop not the type of talent we have been stacking on the edges
 
I’ll go out on a limb and say we have a DJ Jacobs, but he doesn’t know yet. They found a gem with a blank canvas in Jayvon Dawson. No he physically may not be plug and play, but he has everything else. Get his body together and let JT and Heatherman do the rest. I truly believe this guy is gonna shock a lot of people.

We have Jaiden Bryant in the boat though. While I would love to have both of these elite DEs, my anxiety has vanished because I know we have at least one complete stud on board.

That’s where I’m coming from, as long as we got Bryant, I was gonna be OK and we got him. So anything more than him is just icing on the cake.

He was huge for us last year and just made incredibly clutch catches for us. Very happy he’s part of our team.

I think Lofton’s gonna surprise us all this year. He’s looking primed and in shape. So hopefully he can stay healthy this season and live up to the hype he showed last spring. No joke, last spring he was a terror on that practice field.

That’s what I’m thinking, but I hope I’m wrong of course. I want Jacob’s in this class, but if he was gonna be in this class, you would’ve thought he would have already been in it. I keep hearing this talk about playing the long game with him and yes, that could work and it has worked in the past, but I just get the feeling it doesn’t wanna be here.

We took a bunch of DTs last year, one who was a top 100 player. And we have commits for 3 for this class. That's more than we've taken at DE in that time period.

Not that I'd complain if Brewster decides he wants to join us.

Yea the numbers are there but the level is talent isn’t close to what we have been stacking at end
Really need a whale, maybe we’ll use our qb portal money this year and go get some dts

I think he can be a good weapon when the other teams get so freaked out about Mali and Barkate (and the rest) that he can get some easy scores this year

If he left OSU for UT and not us, I wouldn’t even be upset lol. It’d be hilarious and great to laugh at OSU, and I have no issue with UT. We are great at Edge with or without him.

**No I don’t think for 1 second he is going to UT. If he leaves OSU, it’ll be for Coral Gables.
