That’s where I’m coming from, as long as we got Bryant, I was gonna be OK and we got him. So anything more than him is just icing on the cake.I agree with the dudes saying we won't see/hear anything from DJ until late November/December.
We have Jaiden Bryant in the boat though. While I would love to have both of these elite DEs, my anxiety has vanished because I know we have at least one complete stud on board.
He was huge for us last year and just made incredibly clutch catches for us. Very happy he’s part of our team.+1. I rewatched the Cotton Bowl the other day, Marty Brown had huge plays in that 4th quarter. Big catch on 3rd down to keep drive going. Big run right after that. Great reminder of his impact all seaason
I think Lofton’s gonna surprise us all this year. He’s looking primed and in shape. So hopefully he can stay healthy this season and live up to the hype he showed last spring. No joke, last spring he was a terror on that practice field.Yeah I have already prepared myself to lose some players that are gonna sting, bad. We’ve done an incredible job of retention so far though but these amazing recruiting classes are about to get expensive
Elijah Lofton alone…. (Couldn’t help it)
That’s what I’m thinking, but I hope I’m wrong of course. I want Jacob’s in this class, but if he was gonna be in this class, you would’ve thought he would have already been in it. I keep hearing this talk about playing the long game with him and yes, that could work and it has worked in the past, but I just get the feeling it doesn’t wanna be here.Maybe it’s me but what if this the type of recruit that does opposite of what everyone expects. Everyone expects Miami to flip so he won’t, they expected him to announce to UM and he didn’t.
Who knows, tough pull especially after we bodied OSU on the edges. Pause
They figure they need help there to make a legit run in the future
We took a bunch of DTs last year, one who was a top 100 player. And we have commits for 3 for this class. That's more than we've taken at DE in that time period.hopefully were going to pivot and focus our attention on DTs
it seems we have been loading up on ends the past couple cycles
but DT is still lacking
Yea the numbers are there but the level is talent isn’t close to what we have been stacking at endWe took a bunch of DTs last year, one who was a top 100 player. And we have commits for 3 for this class. That's more than we've taken at DE in that time period.
Not that I'd complain if Brewster decides he wants to join us
I think he can be a good weapon when the other teams get so freaked out about Mali and Barkate (and the rest) that he can get some easy scores this yearI think Lofton’s gonna surprise us all this year. He’s looking at primed and in shape. So hopefully he can stay healthy this season and live up to the hype he showed last spring. No joke, last spring he was a terror on that practice field.
Good news is from what’s being said both his parents want him here so hopefully that helps for a change..You can never count out Mario & Co. Since the class is pretty much done, all their focus will be on trying to flip Jacobs. That's why I have some faith

That’s where I’m at, especially with Dawsons recent rise and development. This class is a position or two from being the golden standard.Of course we would take Jacobs with Dawson and Bryant. But i would prefer to dump these resources at a high end DT and keep Bryant and Dawson as the edge players.
That's would be the worst decision of his life Tennessee is a dump literally. If it's not Miami, why in the **** would I want to play at that no name defense. He's better off staying at Ohio state.
Alot of adidas and Tenn talk online, they seem confident..
He’s a kid who loves the process. If he left OSU for UT and not us, I wouldn’t even be upset lol. It’d be hilarious and great to laugh at OSU, and I have no issue with UT. We are great at Edge with or without him.
**No I don’t think for 1 second he is going to UT. If he leaves OSU, it’ll be for Coral Gables.
I bet Tenn is offering a crazy NIL package dealThat's would be the worst decision of his life Tennessee is a dump literally. If it's not Miami, why in the **** would I want to play at that no name defense. He's better off staying at Ohio state.
