It does make sense as a black coach i understand that, but i also don’t wanna see cooney at WR coach not yet lol he’s been good in his role he Need to keep crooting

Stubbs came from Air Force, where they don’t throw. The WR hire is on Lashlee. If he feels could work with Cooney, them I’m fine with it. We need a recruiter, specifically one with Dade ties who could rid us of Banda down south. Give Banda, Enos old territory. You want to know why we can’t land south Dade kids. Stubs is the reason we don’t have Fleming.

Is WR literally the easiest position to recruit @ MIA? It's only difficult if the measuring stick is WRs like Watkins, Cooper, Ridley, Jeudy, Jones-Bell, etc. But MIA wouldn't be getting those players regardless.

Our fans don’t seem to understand that. You want 2 elite recruiters on both sides of the ball. Hickson is that. Fields is supposed to be especially as a TE coach. We don’t really have any snipers on defense. Stroud is good, especially from an eval standpoint. But he’s older.

Again- unless I'm mistaken, Stubblefield generally wasn't welcome in S Fl high schools. I may be confusing him with another staffer though.

I just disagree with the notion that MIA needs a recruiter more so @ WR coach than a technician. As Urban Meyer said S.Fla players may have talent & potential but they are raw. Meaning they need a lot of work. Which is why it is of the utmost importance that they receive coaching that is technically & fundamentally sound.

And Zach Smith was his WR’s coach. He was kept there because he was a dynamic recruiter.

I'm dying at everyone wanting a technician WR coach when y'all just wanted Stubby gone because he is out here recruiting WRs with 4.8 40s.

WR coach is one of those positions you fill with a recruiter. Look at our CB coach.. if y'all think Rumph is some sort of corner technician I have a bridge to sell you. Our attacking system makes the CB look good not Rumph. Rhett's system will do the same for the WR room no matter who the WR coach is. We just need to get a stud recruiters. I want my QB, DL, and OL coach to be a technician everyone else needs to be good recruiters. It laughable crying about who your WR coach is.
