Also why are people posting about mario? There’s no way miami will wait till 2022 when his buyout is less to hire him. With early signing day we need a hire as soon as regular season ends and miami isn’t going to pay a almost 10 million buyout.

I think all talk about money is a smoke screen for leverage during talks. I also think its possible that Mario would drop everything to come to Miami. If you had to rank how bad coaches want to come to Miami, then Mario is likely at the top of the list. Your saying its dumb because of money, but if the AD is so great at getting money for what he needs and he knows his job could be tied to the success of the next coach then I doubt he is only shopping for a bargain coach.

And that's exactly why the entire department needs to be cleared out. Fire everyone except the janitors. Great players come to Miami and never get any better. NOBODY is going to convince me that Pope wouldn't have progressed if he decided to go to Bama or Peyton if he had went to OSU. Not every 4 or 5 star is going to turn out to be a stud and there will always be busts. But for too long Miami players have had no real development or success while in school but then go on to have decent NFL careers.
