here we go again.... can yall shut the fk up about a SC coach already? yall sound ridiculous. you would think the SC coach is the second highest paid position on the team from reading this board.

right... so annoying. Clueless Motherfuggers wouldnt even recognize a strength and conditioning issue if we had some gameday coaches worth a ****.

Since I never played college football I'm just assuming but I would think the S&C coach listens to what the head coach wants. For example were our defensive and offensive linemen becoming blimps before Golden? No we played with speed, which is what we need to do again. It's not about getting bigger but stronger and faster.

Golden blew these kids up. CHICK said Swasey is not the problem, but hey you know guys know more then the players.

This team has been getting their a$$ whipped physically by good teams since the latter half of the Coker days. Only one consistent piece of the puzzle has been in place the last three coaching changes. Some clueless folks around here.

Well S&C is probably one of the most important coaches on the entire staff. They spend the most time with the players pretty much. Swasey has been the only constant over the past 15 years, everything else has changed, and we have been pushed around for all those years.

Ya, Golden made him fatten players up and everything, but what is the excuse for the OL being so weak? They can be fat and strong at the same time, but they are fat and weak. The worst combination.

He was here for Randy and Coker too, what was his excuse then?

Swasey got cats like Mario did smh

was he calling plays for randy and coker too? what excuse does he need? he is not responsible for any football related results.

lol your name is "fireswasey"...your main focus is on a fkin SC coach. yea..cuz thats why we cant turn it around bc swasey sucks lmao get a clue

This +1000. Some of you are really underestimating the importance of the S&C coach. They spend more time with the players than any other one member of the staff.

It's telling that Urban Meyer has called Micky Mariotti the most important member of his staff and has brought him every where he's gone. Same with Brian Kelly and Paul Longo. Saban has also said numerous times how important Scott Cochrane is to running the type of team he wants.

You really have no idea what you're talking about.

Most important hire any new head coach can make it the S+C coach. Urban Meyer did it with Mariotti, Saban did it with Cochran. As a head coach you have to realize, this person is going to be spending more time with your players than anyone else, even you and your staff. You want someone who has the same objectives and goals you want for your program.

With that being said, a lot of NFL Strength Coaches have a hard time making the transition. A lot of NFL strength philosophies is just injury prevention and maintaining some of the most elite athletes in the world. College coaches are responsible for instilling a solid work ethic, DEVELOPING the athletes both physically and emotionally, and creating a culture of success. I know a few who I think would fit the mold of what Miami and Coach Richt are looking for.

oh what do we have here...another internet nerd talking about reading and writing.

he said "he is the consistent piece to the puzzle"...im assuming he is talking about the puzzle of us sucking....therefore he is saying that somehow swasey has something to do with us sucking....which means that a good SC coach (someone besides swasey) wouldnt be "the consistent piece to the puzzle" of us sucking...indirectly saying that somehow a good SC coach is the missing piece to the puzzle of us winning.

is that laid out clear enough for you? if you are trying to say something indirectly without saying it, i am going to call you out on it. dont backtrack talking about "you have no reading comprehension skills" foh

Just going to leave these here. Pictures to the left are pre-Marrotti at OSU; pics to the right are after a year and a half in his S&C program. The results speak for themselves.
