Dalvin after game

"His decision doesn't affect me at all," Phillips said. "Everybody says that I'm his backpack, like wherever he goes, I go. But I never know what's going to get thrown my way in 2015, my senior year. Right now, I want to be on the same field as him and everything, so if I get a better deal than him, I'm just going to take what I get."

This is from the 247 gator board, it's from a interview with Da'Vante Phillips today. Notice he says he's looking for a "Better deal" seems odd. $EC

It is pure speculation. Just like everything else. If Cook and Lane are going up school together, and Cook said he wanted to play in college with Yearby, then what does that tell you? It's simple logic. If A is B and B is C, then A is C. Brutally basic. I'm not crazy and neither was my statement. Based on that logic, We either get all of them or none. The most likely place looks like FSU Or here.

2 points:
* Yearby has never said he is linked to playing with the others as much as Cook and Lane have, he has said he was committed to Miami, and would like Cook to come to. He has said he is coming, no links to other players.

* You have backtracked to now its "FSU or Here" and 50/50. That is still built on the conclusion that it is all 3 or nothing is a package deal, but that goes into the part I mentioned above. Well, it completely leaves out that Trevor Darling coming here and part of the family.

Your reaching, and for no good reason. No source has said Yearby is even considering FSU anymore or linking Yearby would follow Cook or Lane anywhere else.

Point 1: You know just as little as me on the matter. It was Cook that said the comment about playing in college with Yearby. He said it following Yearby's injury. You may be right, the link might be weak, but its also recent. Maybe I value recent statements more than other people.

Point 2: I didn't backtrack. Again (to quote AG), I never made any conclusions and I surely never mentioned percentages. Those are all unfounded inferences. "You're reaching." Darling probably has the weakest connection to the group. Who knows? You seem to be the persuasive authority on the matter. Maybe you can foresee the future for us.

Everything on a recruiting board is speculation to some extent. I probably would be reaching, if I was making conclusions. There's a ton of indefinite language in my posts. Learn to comprehend. Btw, no one asked you to attack me. You can understand if I'm going to defend myself in the future.

And above alllll this....

didn't attack you, just pointed out the flaws in your statement. Put your big boy pants on.

Except that doesn't make any sense. Yearby has given no indication that he would flip at all. He wants to play with Cook, which is why he wants him to come here. You're acting like they're all on the fence of decommitting when it's only Cook and Lane. If Cook doesn't come here, that won't affect Yearby at all. By your logic, Yearby would already be committed to UF because Cook and Lane are there. Lane might follow Cook, but there is nothing to say that Yearby will too. You're not making any sense.

You're right. Yearby hasn't shown any indication of flipping, but does that matter? Have kids flipped without showing indications of such? Yes. It was Cook that said he wanted to play with Yearby. Not the opposite. Big difference. Your comment about Yearby already being committed to UF is just incorrect. Cook is uncommitted (in reality). Yearby is committed to UM. Cook said that he wanted to play with Yearby, like I said earlier. He said it after Yearby's injury. Why are we taking commitments as law? They mean nothing until it's time to sign the papers. I'm just pointing out inconsistencies with these kids' comments. What I said makes perfect sense, and it could be 100% wrong. Being right or wrong has nothing to do with making sense. I never made conclusions. It was just an observation. I appreciate your comment but I'm standing by it. I wouldn't be shocked if they all ended up at the same place, which might be Miami! At this point I'm scarred from the years of heartbreak. I wouldn't be shocked if a scenario like this played out in our favor or not in our favor.

One thing I do know is that Dalvin not going to Florida........**** they don't even have a OC yet......all of their QB's transferring the latest is Murphy. So now that leaves them with Driskel and their savior recruit Will Grier.

one thing i know is if dalvin already had his mind made up and was not interested in us, he would not have shown up with the flu.

Heard from an inside source that Dalvin is just absolutely enthralled with this idea of him being a program changer. Insider (who babysits Dalvin's Aunt's Cousin's twin daughters) said that he silently committed to FAU the other day and will be announcing at the UA game.

If that isn't insider info enough, got a receipt from my fraternity brother who works at Pets-Mart in downtown miami that shows Dalvin's credit card purchasing an OWL. YES, A MOTHER****ING OWL! At halftime of the UA game he will have FSU, UF, and UM hats on the table, but in a crazy ******* move he will be pulling the owl out from underneath the table to reveal his decision.

Stay tuned...

What would be benefit of suing a bunch of poor kids from the inter city who don't have two nickels to rub together. And no player would EVER announce on their network ever again. Doesn't matter if it is logical, people would be in an uproar about a major network suing a minority over some stupid BS. We aren't taking about the syndication right to Selnfeld. This entire convo is ridiculously. Get back to studying for your bar exam pal.
