He needs to make a big jump though because he looked like a HS SR playing his first snaps in the bowl game, but I remember saying the same thing about Horton early on. He has time, let’s hope he takes advantage. If Toney, a kid who should still be in HS, comes in here and beats him out then good for Toney but God bless for 19.

I'm superstitious when it comes to jersey numbers. Last year he had a ton of "buzz" in the spring so maybe it is a net positive.

Granted I’m a mope that hopes we fail but I’m not raising the red flag yet

It’s early. QB1 isn’t practicing. It’s not full go pads etc

Just had hoped a kid with electric speed and good hands like Carr would be standing out in practices that are basically only highlighting physical attributes and not necessarily the grasp of the playbook or Gameday situations

I have been coming here almost everyday for the last 13 years in hopes we never right the ship so I understand completely. Maybe the silver lining is having QBs with a lack of ability limits his chances to stretch the field.

For every Sam Brown, Zalontae Hillery, Jaylin Alderman, Joshua Horton, Cody Brown, Jaden Harris, Jakai Clark, Thomas Davis, Jarren Williams, Marquez Ezzard, Jacurri Brown, Judd Anderson, Realus George, Isaiah Dunson there is a DeeJay Dallas, so let's not bury Luke Nickel just yet.
