DAILY DEBATE: Who are your favorite (and least favorite) CFB media personalities?

The Cover 3 guys (Chip Patterson, Tom Fornelli, Danny Kanell, Bud Elliot) are tops for me: insightful, entertaining, transparent, analytical. Make fun of and address all the CFB conspiracies (both the true and untrue ones). They're also gambling degenerates, so that's very relatable.
Dislikes: anyone that covers multiple sports, like they do at ESPN... just doesn't go deep enough
😳😳😳

No offense, but insightful and analytical are not adjectives I would use to describe the bolded.

Entertaining, yes.

Jesse Palmer is among the best in the business.

Joe Tessitore is the best play by play guy.

Rod Gilmore could be among the best but he has this one element of phaggotry that destroys all of his greatness. He is always crying about players committing penalties. He never sides with toughness. Far too quick to want to chastise a player for a marginal penalty.

Herbstreit lost me when he took a knee and cried on national TV because he was instructed to.

As far as the online guys go: I like Josh Pate and JD Pickell from ON3.

Palmer has definitely improved over the years. He was awful and so biased when he started out. Thought he did a great job during the UM-UF game last year.

Agree on Gilmore and Tessitore. The only thing with Tessitore is that a few times over the past couple years he’s been showing the ESPN-company bs like Herbie a bit too much. It’s just so hard to watch most of these guys now.

Herbie has become an homer over the years.
Will never forgive Sean McDonough for shytting on the 1991 team during the OB broadcast. Questioning whether they showed enough. An *** whipping wasn’t enough, Sean?

I’m just glad Brent Musburger is gone.

Any chick doing play by play. Sorry if that’s sexist, but it grates on my nerves.

I liked the Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge pairing for big games. Can’t stand Gary Danielson or FU Brent Musberger. Keith Jackson and Bob Griese were good as well. Haven’t liked Herbstreit since the Fiesta Bowl “begging for the flag” incident with Eddie George. Larry Munson for UGA and Sonny Hirsch for UM were fantastic on the radio.

Could categorize this as "in the studio" vs. "in the booth". Some guys are good at pre-game and analysis while others are good at calling the game or giving color commentary. Few are great at both. Sadly, most suck at everything.

Favorite: Whoa Nellie Keith Jackson(GOAT)
Least Favorite: Galloway is an ignorant imbecile, Joel Klatt is a known Miami hater but every time he says something dumb I just go watch when Beason lifted him to new heights😂

Mark Maye the former PiTT O-Lineman
Urban Myer - his Smugness
Klatt I don’t dislike cause he is actually very good explaining Why things Happen .

Least Favorite

Favorite Keith Jackson & Bob Griese Some time I just put the Game to hear Kieith Jackson Describe a game without Watching because he was so uniquely Descriptive he paints 🎨 🖼️ a picture of in your mind.

Brett Musburger - He can Sell a Crappy Game or Star like it’s was greatest ever with Hyperboles
