DAILY DEBATE: What are your expectations for TVD at Wisconsin?

A lot of Canes fans, based on what I’m seeing in the group chats and social media.

I’m pretty curious just as a CFB fan. I wish him well and am happy with who we have.
Entertaining question D and worth the flack you’ve received.

It’s funny how many in our fan base reference the good old days which requires one to fire up a VHS to have a reference for the last time we were a reputable program. Many of those same people somehow have an issue when anything TVD comes up because he’s in the program’s past now.

Humbly I say he shows flashes of greatness. Those flashes of greatness will be overrun by poor decisions, poor leadership, poor body language, and overall maddening performances for their fan base (couldn’t happen to a better group of fans).

Word from up there is he’s the same emotionally/mentally fragile guy who doesn’t work or commit himself nearly as much as the guy behind him. Sound familiar?

He might want to prove people wrong and get a little better, but I don’t see him drastically better to the point where people say Miami screwed up, they’ll probably say he didn’t fit the style

...with TVD...
Wisconsin ain't fuccin'. They decided to commit to celibacy in 2024.

I think he will do well. Longo will tailor the offense to his strengths and won’t ask him to do things he’s not good at.

Just going off of his interviews and body language I wonder if TVD has some social anxiety issues, so the human in me is rooting for him.

Idk if I’m rooting for him , but I’m not rooting against him , I’m going to treat him like I would any other QB who plays for Wisconsin, I won’t give a **** what he does .

D Money out here posting rage bait.

I expect what he is..a mid college qb that has ups n downs. And the ups n downs solely depend on how good the oc and surrounding talent is
And his health. Mario trotted that dude out on one leg for half his starts the last two seasons because we had no other quarterbacks. He isn’t afraid to take a hit in the pocket but that also gets him hurt too often. If he’s healthy, he’s a streaky but effective player. If he’s hurt, he’s not worth playing.
