Dabo adding serious coaching talent....

Winning at Clemson is bigger than the ad it starts with the President and the boosters! They will be fine, we just need to keep the pressure on them all!!

They also have had a run of super strong classes. They won't fall off a cliff right away, should bounce back to be the leader of the Atlantic next season.

That said, I do think they're replacing the staff they're losing with lesser talent. Never write Dabo off. But he doesn't appear to have the same winning formula he's had over the past decade.

They are definitely at a inflection point..Dabo could’ve went out (theoretically) and picked out some elite respected coordinators..but, on par with the way Clemson has operated, he decided to hire from within. They lost a couple big commitments when the OC and dc left which is something Dabo has not had to really deal with..especially both happening at once..will be very interesting to see if they bounce back this year. A year can flip a team. We just saw that with Michigan..difference is It’s the total opposite of how Michigan went about it

The AD, previous to Radakovich, was known to be cheap. Remember, Dabo was the WR coach before he became the head coach. They could be settling back in their old ways.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone within 3 years. Clemson is like Arkansas, it has delusions of grandeur. The difference is that Clemson had back to back generational quarterbacks and that resulted in championships. Now Clemson is convinced it is a blue blood and won't accept 8 or 9 win seasons.

not an on the field role so it’s just him taking care of his boy…

But in all seriousness this is the pivot point for Clemson where they can keep churning on what they built or fall into complacency in thinking keeping the same ole same is gonna keep them on top

Fuggg then I hope we skull drag them

Let’s face it, Dabo managed to thread the needle. He leveraged very targeted bags, hit on some assistants, and absolutely nailed it with the QBs. Can he do it again, we’ll see. He seems to be taking a different approach this time. Transfer portal and NIL might just send Clemson back to the middle of the ACC pack where they were for most of their history.

Besides the QBs, he had some serious DL talent that rolled through Clemson the last 6 years.

Well, Dabo signed a top notch QB for the 2022 cycle despite their OC leaving to be the HC at UVA.

Aside from whether Clemson can regain its championship form, the question is who in the Atlantic is going to challenge them?

We have a great opportunity to go into their house next season and leave with a win. It would be a signature win and statement for the program.

I’d say it’s way too soon to write Clemson off. They were a very average program before Dabo took over and he built them into a perennial contender / multiple time champion. Their 3 losses were tight (by a touchdown to GA, double-OT at NC State, and at Pitt by 10) after losing half their starting offense to the draft.

If they win their bowl, it’ll be another 10 win season. In all but one year out of the last 16, that would have been a good year for us.

And I’m hopeful they rebound. Having a strong Clemson in the Atlantic is a good thing for us when we have to compete in the court of public opinion about the ACC once Mario brings us back to elite.

How they do next year with all the turnover will be pivotal though.

idk about that. they have a decent program history but the run they put together this last decade my be an outlier instead of the norm going forward.

idk, One more bad year and the transfer portal could flood wide open. ****, i wonder how many dl go after this bowl game?
