Yup. Recruiting is one thing. The game day coaching aspect is another thing.

He can be a great recruiter and not a good game coach and it’s just as simple as that. I think he needs to trust Dawson to run the offense without interference and have either Dawson or someone else manage the clock. Not everyone is a superstar in every area. That’s why you hire capable people to compensate for where you aren’t as strong.

No shame in that.
1. Recruit dawgs

2. Stay out of the way

3. Profit

Mario just needs to get one of those dudes they have in the NFL that just run analytics on important game management situations like when to go for it on 4th, when to go for a field goal or TD before half, when to kneel, etc....and we'd be cooking.

Tuff and fyzical is a meme at this point, but it is pathetic that at no point did we look tougher or more physical than a 6-6 Rutgers team.

We still show a staggering lack of football IQ and situational awareness.

He started his ******* nephew and let him play the majority of the game.

The final 2 timeouts are now in the portal.

He is the dumbest coach we've had in my lifetime.

He's terrible and we'll have to win in spite of him

And at no point did Rutgers stack the box with TEs to try to run over us.

They spread us out and ran read option. Like every modern offense does to run the football.

There’s are posters on this board that will tell you that Mario runs what Georgia is running. What Lincoln Riley is running. And will go crazy over “super fullbacks” in the recruiting class.

But it’s propaganda. I don’t know what else to call it.

This **** is straight out of 1995 Penn State football. Nobody else in the country is running what we are running with any success. Just like we don’t have success running it. And that’s never going to change.

hey @Baba Yaga could you possibly put this head:

kthxbi good talk

Miami had 142 yards receiving by all TE's this year.. Mallory himself had over 500 yards last year. Can Mario/Dawson misuse that position any worse? There's pretty much 4 positions that can score on offense and they just ignore one of them for more blocking. What kind of stupid **** is that? No kind of decent offense ignores a scoring position. ******* caveman.

Good use of a TE is debatably the hardest thing to cover from a defensive standpoint. Not utilizing the TE at all eliminates so many headaches for the D.
