Cristobal hired as TE coach; Carroll now WR Coach

Mario really fell into a best case scenario after getting blindsided by Pete. Pretty sure Fisch will be back in NFL as OC after next season. Mario bumps up again to OC, and then waits patiently for AG to deliver us a NC or two and then heads to his dream job at PSU after the dust settles and O' Brien is 'allowed' to head back to the NFL.

Street dreamer ain't nothing out there for ya

She's insanely hot in person...A+ hot.

She's involved in a lot of **** in Miami and SoFla...so I can understand her not wanting to leave.

yo, great move...str8 lock down state of miami...figure out responsibilities later...remember in college, kids need to walk the fine line...the more genuine family and love, the better...thats why its cool to read about the kid working summer camp and learning from bc...invaluable come jan 18...only one school took down bama, ndame, penn state, fsu, nebraska when they were at their peaks...everyone affiliated with the program knows there is one goal and one goal only and they now have to step it up...i saw the news watching the mens basketball team beat unc...propz

Like the move.

Agree with larry the teaching aspect around wr is a bit of a concern. I'd also add the evaluations aroud recruits at that position -- ryan moore and akeem jolla were highly rated recruits after all.

But mario more than makes up for that with his recruiting ability and passion for the u. Fisch and / or kehoe will depart or retire in due course, opening up other slots. Could see mario taking ol over before he becomes OC.

Re whoever mentioned shalala's being upset woth mario when he left, i recall that being said also. This works fine though because by coming back in a position corch role, mario eats a bit of crow and so donna wont have to. Easy to forgive a guy when he shows loyalty back @ ya.

Whether mario is a future hc at UM its way too early to speculate. Could be an OC, but i dont have a feel for whether he'd be a good one -- teaching, schemes amd game planning, energy amd recruiting, and managing people are all very different skillsets.

Mario having head coaching experience is a huge. I don't put D'Onofrio in that category because he never ran a program. I still think there are upgrades that can be made to the staff. I would like to see one more guy on the staff that's actually ran a program, preferably on the defensive side of the ball.

The concerns about WR coach are within reason. Posters underestimate how good a coach McDonald really is, and the growth of our young wrs last season. Those wrs are still relatively young. We will need to keep an eye on that.
