I cant believe they even let Susan in the press conferences anymore
I hadn't heard anything about recruiting coordinator duties.......someone please post a tube ASAP!

Quick hits from the Presser:
On Coach Golden: Relentless hard worker that Mario has been blown away by. Very impressed with how Golden operates. Golden has a regiment in place to achieve the goals he set when he first came in. Has known Al Golden since 2004-05. Got to know each other better over the past few years. His take away from Golden's philosophy is: "A goal without a plan is a wish"
On coming back: The U is completely different from the last time he was here. Extremely excited about being back and ready to hit the ground running. Never envisioned on being back but that Miami is a special place, and the focus is on the now and the vision is set. Praises the entire staff on working towards becoming champions again. Loves that everyone on the staff is on board. Miami is home and its a tremendous honor for him to be back.
On being AHC: He considers it as just being part of the staff. Would not expound on the details of what that job will be.
On Recruiting: Entire staff will be working on recruiting despite whether someone has the recruiting coordinator title. Everyone is involved and they are in attack mode. Wherever he needs to go or needs to be sent, he is ready to roll. As for him recruiting as a head coach it was difficult with the new rules and he is a face to face and eye to eye guy so it was an adjustment. Doesn't know what areas he will be picked to recruit.
On being fired: He was very surprised but it was what it was. Gives all the credit of their achievement to the assistant coaches and athletes.
On the TEs on Team: Hasn't seen enough on tape yet but said Carroll has done a great job with the TEs. Lots of work ahead of him. All players report on Sunday.
Players on team: He does know some of the players on the team. Never cut off the players that he recruited that he didn't get. Enjoyed watching them progress.
Now speaking in Spanish per request from the press and I have no idea what he is saying! LOL
On His Kids: They only understand how to wrestle with dad but they will be wearing Orange and Green. No choice. (Two boys: 3yrs and 18 months) However now that he is a father, he understands truly what it means when you have to treat each player as if they are one of your kids. Its all about teaching.
