He's completely wrong and she's nowhere near as plugged in as she thinks. This didn't start in November. And this has been decided for YEARS. The people responsible for the money all came together behind Carol being fed up with Blake James & this started the day richt retired. Came to it's culmination after the second game of the season and she flipped the vast majority of the room after the fspew game for the majority vote. What they didn't take into account is the games and length these clowns would go to in order to sabotage progress. But if not for Carol soffer getting all of the money people on the same page with her this doesn't happen. Period...

Thick Joy is still good. If you want to get her on the business end of the pole, now's the time. I wouldn't commit to her long term, but I'd happily be in her rotation. The dude that does shoot that club up is in for some issues. She's going to get big after kids enter the picture...
 
Lets get something clear alot of you are on some of the bull the national media be on. Stadium and fans and blah blah. I have said from day 1. All we have to do is first spend the money on the coaching staff. Then that coach will demand investments in all aspects of the football operation.

Any chance those clowns who tried to ruin all the progress get dealt with? Perhaps, Sopranos style? Just kidding…sort of.

OT but one of the podcasts I watched in the last few days mentioned Mario was ****ed that Blake James didn't talk to him when Richt retired, and instead ran after Manny. Interesting to think what could have been if we had gone after Mario back in 2018. We might have even had him instead of Al Golden.

Cowherd is like many of the ESPN guys. Their jobs are easier and their ratings are higher when they have national story lines.
UGA and Bama are great teams but they are not national story lines and few people outside the southeast care about those schools.
‘Michigan is more national because of its enormous and powerful alumni base.
USC, ND and Miami are national story lines. Cowherd understandably would rather discuss USC, UM and ND than Bama and LSU and Oklahoma. He has a national audience. His is not the Paul Finebaum show where the same 30 people call every week and ask why Saban doesn’t like the Bama fan base.

so when you see someone in media take a side for or against a school, ask yourself what the self interest of the media member is. National media tend to favor national brands. Local media, and regional shows like Finebaum (I know it’s on ESPN but it skews regional) tend to favor regional/local stories and brands.

these people are not speaking as fans or enemies. They are speaking out of self-interest.
