Could Trayone Gray play LB?

WR. Has a WR build. Doesn't look body wise a RB to me. When I look at him I can see flashes of a big strong and physical WR. He has Ty Montgomery potential. Put him at WR, don't waste him like Geathers. He's never played defense before, he would have to sit a whole year and learn to ever even play defense.

Trayone should be a WR.

Defense requires a certain attitude. I seem to remember his HS coach saying Chocolate didn't like defense. I suspect Al was talking about WR.

Just leave him on offense him not redshirting was just horrible roster management. Clearly he wasn't going to see the field this year at RB with Duke, Yearby, and Gus all firmly ahead of him. I was surprised not to see him at all in the return game considering Coley has been garbage this year. He definitely won't be a factor at RB in the future with who's coming in.... WR would be his best bet. He'll need a lot of work on his route running though before he steps foot on that field as a WR. I could see him running the wildcat role Duke has been doing this year as well.

In an interview on CS, Al said he might be changing positions. I know he has never played defense, but with his size and athleticism he could make a very good WILL LB. We will be thin at WILL next season and if Gray can pick up the position in the spring, I could see him making an impact at the position in the fall.

This is what ****es me off about Al! Here we are with an exceptional offensive talent and because of Al's deficiencies at recruiting he talking about moving this kid and ******* up his career by suggesting he play LB'er for his ****ed up buddy! Just because he has the size to play the position! How many more careers does he need to **** up by pulling this ****! Bet they wouldn't pull this **** at LSU or Bama with a big stud fast back! I got no love for Al and this **** just intensifies my call to fire his soft no coaching ***!

Thought he'd be a hybrid WR when he came in and hope they still figure a way to make him a plus-sized Dexter McCluster.

Who else has he done this with?

I don't really like the WRs we've brought in lately. I'd like to see him tried there.

He's dynamic with the football in his hands, I don't want his best attribute wasted. I'd put him at WR and hope to accidentally unearth a 6'2 225 type freak in the mold of Demariyus/Josh Gordon.

This and only this but what the **** do I know anyway. Might be the goods at LB but I prefer the ball in his hands.

He actually played Safety in high school but not a lot of it. with his size he is a LB now.

I can't remember if I ever saw him playing safety. Almost certain he's never played defense, I saw him primarily playing qb and WR. One of his own coaches said that he needs the ball in his hands and wouldn't make a good defensive player.

I hope we move him to WR. With Gus, Yearby, Scarlett, Dexter, and Walton all set to be in the backfield next year, I don't see him getting a lot of carries. Even if one of the 2015 guys drop Gray would likely have 4 guys ahead of him.

Al never suggested that he would move to LB, he didn't suggest a position at all. He was asked if Gray would stay at RB and Al said that Gray is getting really big and he wasn't sure if he would stay at the position. I personally believe he has the size and athleticism to be a stud WILL LB.

The issue with some of these athletes is they can be jacks of all trades and masters of non. A lot of people think he should move to WR, but I don't think he is a natural pass catcher and he will need a lot of time to work on his hands.

Also for those who think this year was wasted, I disagree. He starts on multiple special teams units and is contributing.

Take the tampons out ladies. The young man enrolled late and still didn't RS. That in of itself tells you he is a stud. Let him go through one **** spring ball practice before some of you freak out! It will get figured out where to play him then. IMO, LB...

And by the way, he can still redshirt next year if need be...
