I can tell you for a fact he speaks to multiple, real sources because I speak to the same people.

Certainly fair enough, i just feel like the updates within minutes of eachother that end up being the same words in a different format just set him up for online abuse..warranted or not (generally not, but still kinda funny from some ppl to me)

Im just an opinion on a messageboard at the end of the day tho lol, im not legitimately about to tell someone how to do their job, 247 business model borderline requires these poor ******** to do it, gotta get the clicks and subs!

As a reporter you need to double/triple check your information to write a story about it.

As a content provider on a message board his paying customers want updates.

The update he gave was information he had but not yet fully vetted/confirmed therefore it wasn't reporting .... it was giving information he had at the time on a message board and his wording was explaining exactly that.

this. cribby told everyone, sub sites are about subs. if oyu just stay silent as one of their info getters, youre not driving traffic adn youre not getting paid. this is his JOB not his hobby. hes paid to make those updates and provide what he hears. people need to stop the trash talking and realize the man is doing a job just like you do your job at work. its his work. woj gives info on random g league signings at times. you think he really cares? nah. hes paid to provide those updates and be first.

You got that much from “I am NOT reporting”? I wonder how you interpret the back of a box of Cheerios. Whatever man. I like updates like the rest of us and while I think that you are over reaching on his“journalistic integrity” to make sure that he was prefacing his comments as such, we get better and more concise information from our very own sources that don’t use double negatives and other colloquial that would get shredded by real journalists. This is why I don’t give a dime to that site as his work isn’t worth looking at, especially considering that D$ is talking to many of the same sources. I’ve got a meeting to go into or else I would espouse more as to why his brand of journalism is neither journalistic nor effective in communicating relevance.
