I’m willing to wait till Tuesday morning since some people have stated that Monday is execution day.
But history has proven that the admin dgaf. The president’s cute little letter and all these tweets talking about the “right people being ****ed” just sounds like a dude talking sht on social media that can’t back it up.

The president’s letter was just to appease the masses after ESPN blasted them publicly. As of now until something happens it’s just more bark and no bite.
Everybody on here stating that the pressure is on Manny because a president wrote a letter??!! Frenk can just pick up a god**** phone and call him and Blake personally and say get your sht together or your parking space is gone.

Some of y’all must not have worked at big corporations. Do you know what happens when administration gets ****ed off and wants to fix a Fck up right away? The suits come down with security an escort anybody that wasn’t doing their job or you wake up one day you go to work and half the people you worked with aren’t there.
It’s obvious by now that administration hasn’t reached their “holy **** we got to do something now” moment that literally happened after sparty.

All the signs of bad coaching and bad football and lack of progress were right there in your face at the end of that game. And you did nothing except write a god**** letter and send out some smoke signals on Twitter.

When we hired Richt and Vilma was on the search committee he wanted Charlie Strong. Of course that was before richt was fired from Georgia and was available. I saw texts from my former business partner that played with him on the Saints and are still good friends. Strong was his choice out of the entire field.

Vilma has no business being involved in a coaching search for that reason alone

My working theory is that he thinks Diaz is a good HC because he keeps Miami down, meaning the SEC and his beloved Georgia can waltz into SoFl and pick off the cream of the crop unopposed.

Doesn’t it make sense to can him now so you can blame the inevitable shellacking on the “disruption to the program” so as to have something to spin to recruits?

Agree. No disrespect to you personally, but every coach I’ve heard a former player mention has been somewhere between out of touch and total trash. They seem to evaluate based on who they’d like to play for, maybe even who they respect. The players got us Coker, and likely helped get us Shannon. Players loved that Diaz came back.

I don’t blame them, but most seem to be poor judges of coach quality.

I just don’t think the ACC is ok with that either. I could be wrong but I bet they are watching just like us fans are to see if Miami actually commits now.

I just find it hilarious that manny was hired in about 20 minutes, had all the leverage, and you assume our incompetent administration negotiated a good buyout. They probably had to take it out of the archives to read it because they didn’t have time to before it was actually signed.
they also probably made More concessions so It was comparable or better tHan his temple contract, like the five year length. They never thought they were going to fire him 2.5 years into his contract

I don't see him being kept after this season. Too much damage has been done. Manny has been exposed one too many times to survive another disappointing season. The way our fanbase has turned on him will make that impossible. We'll lose another 2 or 3 games and that will seal the deal for him. Also, Blake James knows that his seat is starting to heat up as well so you know he'll try to pacify the fanbase by firing Manny.

SN: Not rooting for our players because you dislike the coach is weak bro. Our players deserve better.

I think the former players were also pushing for Butch to replace Richt. Sooo...yeah. I don't think their decision making has improved.

There was an interview with Brian Burns earlier this year - they asked him about the difference between Rivera and Rhule. He was waxing lyrical about Rivera "he played the game, can really relate with the players.... oh and Rhule is alright too".

I'm sat here thinking "Rhule has you playing out of your mind - how are you possibly disrespecting him like that!? Players, man.

They don’t know as much about actually being a coach and running a program as they think they do.

The PITT QB just broke a Dan Marino TD passing record over a 3 game stretch. 14 TDs in 3 games. They’ve got 300 yards passing in the first half against GT that’s also looked improved this year. Add in UNC, and NCST as mentioned above. That’s 4 losses and we’re still missing VT. Duke is a toss up. FSU should be a win but we’re probably the most important game on their schedule since they know they’re going to get throttled by Florida. So we’ll probably get the best version of FSU so I’m not even inclined to chalk that up as a W. That’s at least another 4-5 losses maybe more.

Puts us, at best, 4-8 or 5-7 missing a bowl game with the most talented team we’ve had in a while. Don’t see how Manuel survives that which is why I say fire him now and show that this is unacceptable.
