After all the emphasis mentioning those NOT Miami, then some get a woody for Chud, who isn't even going to sniff this job.

And for the record, Butch Davis is from Oklahoma.
 
If Chud isn't the coach this Foil *** needs to be banned.

Nobody knows anything on the coaching front for at least another month. That's the most likely truth so I'll be loyal to it. Meanwhile, tons of wishes and stabs, in one marathon thread after another.

College kids don't know how to run a 3-4. More often than not. Alabama is a rare exception but even they are using more 4 man fronts these days. If we are relying on what Alabama has done recently that's hysterical. Rule, not the exception.
 
I'm on the Herman train. The guy is a winner and has all the attributes a winning coach has and toughness is at the top. I want someone who is going to encourage his players to go kick someone's ***.

Ohhhhh, I can ABSOLUTELY see good ol Flake thinking he can split the difference between a Butch hire and a Cristobal hire by bringing back Chud.
 
New coach won't be decided until after November 14th.

Some might gripe about an overreaction. But Houston beat Memphis last season ... They pull it off this season, and Herman is the guy. But if Fuente adds Houston to his wall this season, to go along with Ole Miss, then he's the guy.

I'll take either. Prefer Fuente, because he has the longer tenure as an HC. But Houston has proven to be a legit proving ground for mid-major coaches. Briles and Sumlin are legit college HCs. I know cats knock Sumlin, but he's had that program trending the right way, IMO. He just has to mobile QBs, if he wants to beat Bama.

UGA or Miami? Because I've watched both, and I want neither Grantham nor No D near Miami.

I watched him at Georgia, just never liked him as a person. Don't know if he would connect with our kids.

I could be off, just my opinion.

Your full of Bull crap to the point of making an *** out of your self. Mcelwain was very successful AS a college head coach at CSU before being hired by the Gators and was a coordinator for Saban on a national championship team.Most of the Gator fans were happy with the hire. CHUD 's one stint as a head coach was an abject failure. The man has never even been a college coordinator.

Uh, well, see, well Chud's HC gig was the NFL. Nit sure but I think that might be out of AS class.
