Well, this didnt age well!Clemson’s defense will clamp down but the offense doesn’t have elite WRs.

Has anyone said Gattis and Steele weren't mistakes?Did Mario have an opportunity to clean house and start fresh? Did Mario have opportunity to hire better coordinators? 5-10 years ago that would be valid but in 1 or 2 years you can absolutely transform a team. Anyone that believes or tries to argue differently is a white knight. But I wont elaborate further I faught too hard to get back.
My only point is none of the excuses we've seen the last 18 months are valid from this point forward. If some people bought into it last year so be it. If we aren't competive in every game, 100% of the blame goes to Mario and any attempt to "explain" (make excuse) is irrelevant. Including "TVD was hurt" because that is already gearing up to be used.Has anyone said Gattis and Steele weren't mistakes?
1 or 2 years? We're starting year 2.

They may now, lolI'm sure DUKE FOOTBALL goes into every year expecting to compete for Nattys. Nvm pal.
I agree.100% of the blame goes to Mario for last year too.
Duke mopped the field with us last year and beat the crap out of Clemson last night...yes the turnovers helped but if Duke doesn't muff the punt in the 2nd quarter Clemson is SHUT OUT in the 1st half! Duke beat up Clemson physically the entire game. So Elko beat Clemson by double digits in year 2 and so should we considering we have much better talent than Duke. Stop making excuses for MarioI'd be willing to bet Cutcliffe left Duke with a much better culture than Manny left us. Cutcliffe got the best players he could, Manny got the highest rated players he could, regardless of how they fit in the puzzle.
There's a lot more that goes into winning than people realize.
I've clearly said that's not what I'm doing. I'm saying the two inherited completely different situations. That doesn't absolve Mario of anything.Duke mopped the field with us last year and beat the crap out of Clemson last night...yes the turnovers helped but if Duke doesn't muff the punt in the 2nd quarter Clemson is SHUT OUT in the 1st half! Oh not at all. He was just a cog in a machine but either way, he was apart of something that he never came close to doing at MiamiIt was us. It’s also this Clemson team isn’t even the shadow of what those Clemson teams were.
I’m happy for Blades but let’s not pretend he was a deciding factor to the game.
K, Bye.
Or on a short leash and not willing to waste time teaching someone about coaching etiquette. Not everyone is meant to be saved good luck to you. That's how you can judge someone's age and career. When you point out the glaring contradiction in their back-to-back posts, their response is "K, Not exactly an esteemed scholar, are we.
I'd rather wait until Oct 22.Hey you slackers...can we get some TIGERS TEARS around here? Merge Clemson and LSU if you like lol.
This is absolutely not true. Good lord. Coaches are alpha males. They absolutely expected to win.

I think the answer is apparent.Do you coach anything? I'm not even going to get into it, but no, just no.
