Another stat I saw online,

Dabo was 58-0 at Clemson when his team has 200+ yards rushing and passing. 58-1 now.

Best believe they'll be clicking on all cylinders October 21. Teams get hyped to play Miami. They don't to play Duke. After 20 years of irrelevance, I don't know why it has to be like that but it is.

If it wasn't for 5th year player, Shipley, they would have lost by 40pts
 
Last night was a combination of a few things. Clemson is not as good as it once was. You can could kind of tell last year that they were declining. Dabo struck gold on a few outstanding QB's in a row and obviously his offenses are not quite as potent without that stellar talent behind center.

Riley Leonard is a NFL QB. Guy is an outstanding player at the most important position on the field. Not only that Duke is for real. Elko is a **** of a coach and you can tell he had them playing very tough and well last year. I see one of the larger programs pouching Elko soon.

agreed, clemson has dipped a bit but not nearly as much as the score or last night made it seem

two fumbles inside the 10, 1 blocked field goal, one missed field goal? that **** ain't happening again

good for duke capitalizing but this is still likely a 9-10 win Clemson team

I'd be willing to bet Cutcliffe left Duke with a much better culture than Manny left us. Cutcliffe got the best players he could, Manny got the highest rated players he could, regardless of how they fit in the puzzle.

There's a lot more that goes into winning than people realize.

None of that has much relevance in my argument. Motivating players and hiring competant staff members are the defincies Mario created. Team morale is not as big a piece as you guys want to believe. Winning cures all isn’t just a saying.
