Front office? When did we switch to talking about the NFL? A "football office" at a college is the head coach and his staff. My goodness.

So what role does the president and BOT and athletic department play in this fantasy world? Or are you unfamiliar with that dynamic? You don't have to answer I know already.

I heard today Dabo has only taken 2 transfers ever, is that right? Some qb on roster now and Hunter Johnson qb from Northwestern last year. So you hate the transfer portal but take 2 qbs that will never play.

I’ll give you the whole internet at your disposal. Show me where anyone refers to those people at any university as the “front office”.
 
The main takeaway is that the ACC is wide-open. Yeah, week 1 and all that but the juggernaut in the room already has a conference L. FSU will either put them out to pasture for the season, or give them life.

Clemson (and LSU too) got in the red zone enough to win, but came away with nothing far too many times. I wouldn't expect that from them again this season, so they will play better, but it looks like a continuation of last season when they were daring us to make a game of things.

Their OL and DL were very lackluster, and I don't see how that gets fixed in-season.

Fun fact: Richt tried to hire Aranda, but he chose to go to LSU instead. That's how we ended up with Diaz. A book on all the what-ifs and what could have been's for UM would be both interesting and extremely depressing.
 
Clemson 247 board is crazy. Seems more than a few of them were predicting something like this loss was coming. Dabo's coaching staff has been under fire.....

Tyler Grisham: First coaching job
Lemanski Hall: First coaching job
Kyle Richardson: High school
Mickey Conn: High school
Thomas Austin: 2 years at Georgia State

This is where the problem lies for the past couple of years. And that falls at Dabos feet.
 
Something tells me Dabo won't be at Clemson too much longer. I don't care what contract says.

He does, and alphas are looking for the next bigger challenge. For some reason, Aranda thought he could win big there. Nice failure, though, in trying to trap me. Maybe work on the content and not try for sick burns.

That wasn't the word out of Clemson SC. I can't stop laughing. You don't know all the crap I heard all summer long. Best offensive line ever, best returning defense ever, special teams best ever lol. If we don't beat Clemson now I will never hear the end of it. They keep trying to throw our games back at me now, nope, 28-7 is all that matters, bye bye Clemson.
 
Dabo is a good coach but he also caught lightning in a bottle with some early staff hires and his run of QBs. I think he is coming back down to reality as a top 25 type CEO more so than an elite, perennial national championship HC.

His more recent coaching hires and lack of portal use are a bit concerning if your a Clemson fan.
