Clemson - Virginia

Clemsons won 2 out of the last 4 natty’s and haven’t dropped a regular season game in 3 years.

some of y’all talking like they’re Pitt

We’re talking like this because these aren’t the same players that won all those football games. They aren’t as strong as when they had Simmons and 4 nfl high draft picks playing in front of him every down. And we’re definitely not the same team.

Like I said in Lu's thread a few days ago, Derion Kendrick & Andrew Booth can cover.

They won't have a problem leaving their corners on an island in Man coverage vs our WR's.

Until our WR's prove they can be a real threat down the field, DC's will not worry about them & dare us to beat them deep. They'll play Man on the outside, double up Brevin & load the box to keep King & Cam contained.

King's gonna have to go God mode & our WR's have to play their best game in order to keep up & go score for score.
I expect Lashlee to release Cam and Rooster and get them heavily involved in the pass game. I'm not sure they can account for that and then that softens them up.

Someone previously disagreed with me about #47 (Skalski) changing direction like my father's old Monte Carlo. That's the second time I've seen a RB stick his foot in the ground and the dude get worked. Maybe I haven't seen him enough, but he doesn't look like a dude who changes direction well.

Missed twice on that one play lol.

Dude, this post sounds like you’re saying that the stars have to be aligned for Miami to move the ball and score against their defense. If this IS Clemson’s defense, Miami should move the ball. King, the TEs, the RBs, and our WRs are way better than UVA’s offense. Maybe I’m reading you wrong?
Not what I'm saying at all...

What I'm saying is, it will be a very difficult game overall & if people think Miami will just shred through Clemson's D like we did vs FSU & Lville they're going to be disappointed.

Yes, Miami has much better talent than UVA, but do we have the ability to make them pay for not respecting our WR's & can we win the one on one matchups on the outside, if the answer is yes then we'll make it a game, if we don't then it'll be a long night.

Our game don’t need to be perfect, but clean up the penalties, and we have a legit shot, imo. Clemson struggled mightily on that last UVA drive before the half when they went uptempo. King could be a thorn in their side, just like Hurts. Running, dual QBs seems to be their Kryptonite.

now doesn’t it feel good to talk like this instead of being afraid of friggin FIU and ****?
