Carr ran for over a thousand more yards in High School than Minchey.
How is Minchey a duel threat & Carr a statue?

Go watch Carr’s HS film. His HS OL was horrible & he was running all over the place throwing off-platform.
He’s not a run first QB, but he is very mobile in the pocket & runs well.

Honestly, I never heard Minchie was a dual threat at this point. Rather, all I've heard about is his running ability.

Your definition of mobile for Carr is like Tom Brady and Big Ben......if they don't give you fear he is a statue. Minchey will legit break in the open field and make things happen. Not worried about a slow white QB from Michigan running for yards against Bubba and cousin Leo.

This man brought his high school stats in MIchigan HS..... OKAY

If he goes like 9/16 for 134 yards, but ND wins some other way, I'll tip my cap. But that kid can't beat you. You have to make his life a living ****. DM his old lady. Call his hotel room all night before the game. Rock the buses. Whatever we have to do for him to be ****ting down his leg. You can't lose to a kid playing ball for the first time, not with how good our team is. It's time to hunt.

Am I seeing the wrong stats? Because according to Sports Illustraed and MaxPreps, neither was a runner. And both had pick issues. Riley Leonard they are not.

Carr High School Stats From Sports Illustrated:
2023 Stats: 199 com., 292 att., 68.2%, 2,754 pass yards, 24 TD, 9 INT / 91 rush yards, 9 TD
2022 Stats: 222 com., 326 att., 68.1%, 2,685 pass yards, 26 TD, 5 INT / 221 rush yards, 7 TD
2021 Stats: 156 com., 243 att., 64.2%, 2,696 pass yards, 28 TD, 4 INT

Minchey High School Stats from Maxpreps
2022 Stats: 47 com., 768 yards, 73.4%, 11 TD, 1 INT (in 4 games) / 17 for 57 yards, 0 TD
