CJ Bailey needs to come home

Bailey is at almost 70%. And was at 70+ for most of the season

There is a big gap in completion percentage. That can be argued in terms of what they are forced to do in their offense but Bailey would reach Carson levels in our offense completion % wise.

So, you are arguing for Bailey possibly being even better on a team like UM?

Because that’s my argument.

Last year I said we should take Mendoza after I initially said no.

Same thing this year when I said we should take Leavitt, whom I like. I had said no to Bailey. That thought process changed after looking at more video and looking at more data.

Bailey would do very well here, IMO!

Yeah he would be good in every game we don’t have pressure… but he won’t win the OSU games.

Ok. I can agree that is yet to be determined, in the same way it was with Mendoza.

It’s why I feel confident with Beck at QB as the experience he has in big games.

QBs like Bailey and Mendoza you won’t know until the games happen but he does have the tools to be successful.

No, it says a lot about the portal era. If it were the same comparison we would be talking about. The overhyped elite 11 extra, the basketball player that can dunk and rebound and the guy that peaked in high school.
 
yeah @DMoney Bailey plugging has won me over finally.... I don't even give the J.Smith angle any thoughts... butttt, if he could be a big piece in getting Jojo's head straight and focused at living up to his potential, then that's a big bonus.... Bailey would have the pieces to build upon some impressive stats.... 6'6 dude that can run.... lets gooooooo

Bingo.

The board loves to rip up any qb option. Every qb is going to have positives and negatives. Ppl need to realize it's relative. There is no Cam Ward in the portal this year. Mendoza is a product of Cignetti.

The good thing is, this year's crop of qbs seems the deepest. I truly believe with next year's team, we can make the playoffs with any of these qbs (if used properly)

Sorsby
Bailey
Raiola
Sellers

And probably a few more I can add to that list.

Next years team will be good, we dont need a perfect #1 overall draft pick.

A quarterback, struggling against the better teams, is always a red flag. In the history of football, that’s always a red flag. I could give two craps, what he did against average teams. Give me Levitt, that’s the guy we need if we wanna win next year.
